MySQL Fehler

Hallo zusammen, ich habe ein komisches Problem mit meiner MySQL Datenbank. Irgendwie kann ich über den Browser keine Verbindung zur DB herstellen. Wenn ich das mit phpMyAdmin probiere kommt folgende Fehlermeldung: #2002 - Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) Wenn ich in phpMyAdmin anstatt localhost 127.0.0.1 einstelle, geht es. cdrecord: freien CD-Speicherplatz abschaetzen

Hallo, ich habe einige Fragen zum Brennen eines Images (erstellt mit mkisofs) mit cdrecord. Wäre nett, wenn mir hier jemand helfen könnte. Google hat mir zahlreiche, z.T. recht interessante Artikel ausgespuckt, doch gerade zu meinen Fragen nichts wirklich verwertbares. Der Hintergrund zu meinen Fragen ist, dass ich ein Backup-Skript schreibe und vorher berechnen muss, wie groß der (noch) freie, nutzbare(!!!) Speicher auf der CD ist. Zur Zeit rechne ich große Sicherheiten ein, die dazu führen können, dass bis zu 70MB ungenutzt bleiben. Vielleicht könnt ihr mir diese Fragen oder zumindest einen Teil davon beantworten: Angenommen ich verwende eine 80min CD-R, so hat diese eine Kapazität von 720.000kB (User-Data). Bezieht sich die Kapazität auf die Größe des Image und bedeutet das, dass ich mit cdrecord ohne Optionen wie "-multi" ein Image mit bis zu 720.000kB darauf brennen kann (oder muss ich von den 720.000kB noch Speicher für Lead-In/-Out und evtl. Gaps abziehen)? Nun habe ich mir auch "README.multi" von cdrecord "reingezogen". ;-) Wenn ich das richtig verstanden und richtig gefolgert habe, werden bei der ersten Session von Multi-Session-CDs 22.800kB Lead-In/-Out + Speicher des Image verbraten. Die zweite Session frisst wie jede weitere 13.800kB Lead-In/-Out + Speicher des Image (oder benötigt die Zweite auch nochmal 22.800kB???). Offenbar habe ich einige Verständnisprobleme mit Formulierungen im Readme-File :-( (oder einfach ein Brett vor dem Kopf, ausschließen würde ich es nicht). Was passiert, wenn ich die letzte Session der Multi-Session-CD mit cdrecord ohne "-multi" Option brenne? Geht dabei zusätzlicher, nutzbarer Speicher flöten im Vergleich zu Brennen mit "-multi" oder spare ich Speicher ein (oder weder das eine noch das andere)? So weit, so gut. Irgendwo habe ich gelesen, dass bei jeder weiteren Session das TOC der vorherigen nochmal mitgebrannt werden muss. Muss das auch noch extra mit einkalkuliert werden oder ist das schon in dem Speicher fürs Lead-In o.ä. mit einberechnet? Falls mir jetzt noch jemand verraten kann, wie/in welchem Modus cdrecord ohne weitere Optionen brennt, wäre ich restlos glücklich. ;-) Das waren viele, möglicherweise blöde Fragen. SuSE 8.2: Grub ohne grafische Oberfläche

Hallo, nachdem es monatelang funktionierte, will auf einmal Grub nicht mehr mit der grafischen Oberfläche starten. Ich habe Win XP sowie SuSE 8.2 auf der Festplatte. Jetzt erscheint nur noch "Grub version 0.93 - Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported" sowie die Eingabezeile "grub>" Wie kann ich Grub wieder dazu bringen, die grafische Oberfläche anzuzeigen bzw. die einzelen Partitionen booten? Hallo Leute Wie bekommt ihe die Smilies in die Mails? Suse 8.2 Mozila 1.4 Habe die Smilies als gifs. Wenn ich nun aus einem Verzeichnis kopiernen will STRG + C fügt er nur die url ein. Was muss ich machen ? MFG Stefan

Samba 2.2.8a und Windows 2000 policies SuSE 8.2

Hi, ich möchte gerne in einem Schulnetz das mit win 2000 Clients und einem Samba 2.2.8a PDC auf SuSE 8.2 policies vergeben, damit z.b die Netzwerkumgebung, Startmenue usw... ausgeblendet wird. Ich hab im Netz einige Infos gelesen nur läuft die Sache bei mir irgenwie nicht ! Poledit.exe mit .adm files bei heise gezogen, ntconfig.pol für Default User erstellt (überall mal testweise ! Häkchen gesetzt) auf dem Samba PDC in das netlogon Verzeichnis kopiert. Mit chmod 644 Rechte gestzt, w2k Client meldet sich an .. nix passiert :( Mein netlogon share in der smb.conf sieht so aus: --------------------------- [netlogon] comment = netlogons path = /var/lib/samba/netlogon browsable = yes writeable = no writelist = root Der Samba laüft sonst wunderbar als PDC ! Hat jemand eine Idee / Lösung was ich falsch gemacht haben könnte ???? Kennt Ihr vielleicht eine Seite wo ich ein ntconfig.pol zum Testen finden kann was mit dem W2K Client funktionieren müsste ?????? Danke schonmal !!!! Axel

SED Frage

Hallo mal eine kurze Frage zu sed. Ich wollte eine Zeile aus einer Datei löschen, die aber genau ein bestimmte Wort enthält. Also ich habe z.B. eine Datei mit: test test001 test002 test003 und möchte mittels " sed /^test/d " nur test löschen. Sed löscht jedoch gnadenlos alles was irgendwie test lautet. kmail-popups verbieten

Hi Bei der Verwendung von kmail (Version 1.5.3) in Verbindung mit imap-Konten zeigt das Kamel die äußerst unangenehme Angewohnheit bei einem Fehler in der Verbindung zum imap-server popup Fenster zu öffnen. Zudem schickt er auch für das selbe(n) Konto/Server bei jedem erfolglosen Verbindungsversuch ein neues popup auf den Weg. Unglücklicherweise findet keinerlei Begrenzung von Anzahl und Frequenz der erscheindenden Popups statt. Diese Popups haben obendrein eine derart hohe Priorität, dass man sie erst Wegklicken muss um an irgendwelche Programme zu kommen. Was passiert, wenn man sich nur mal ne Tasse Kaffe holt und inzwischen des Mailserver nen Fehler hat, kann sich wohl jeder vorstellen.... Gibt es eine Möglichkeit das Kamel daran zu hindern den gesamten Desktop auf diese Art unbrauchbar zu machen? mfg Axel
