Hallo Liste,
ich habe ein Problem mit ping -b. Es antwortet mir nur mein
Gateway/Router. Die anderen Rechner bleiben stumm, sind aber durch
direktes anpingen erreichbar.
Ich habe hier ein Netz mit 7 Rechnern, von denen drei immer online sind.
Meine Lnx WS bzw. der Router hängen auch noch in anderen Netzen, was
aber meiner Meinung nach hier nebensächlich ist.
Folgendes tritt auf, was ich nicht verstehe:

! Es melden sich nur die 192.168.42.1 (dsl) und die 192.168.42.43 (diddl)
! Wo ist meine Lnx WS (yoda)? Die Kiste ist online und per Ping erreichbar.

Wenn ich jetzt auf der diddl die SuSEfirewall2 starte, dann bekomme ich
bei einem Broadcastping nur noch eine Antwort vom Router. Selbst dann,
wenn ich die SuSEfirewall2 wieder stoppe.

Das einzige was mir nach langer Sucherrei aufgefallen ist, war das
folgende Module auf der diddl geladen werden wenn die SuSEfirewall2
gstartet wird:

Aber ob das Verhalten mit den Modulen zusammenhängt oder nicht, weiss
ich nicht und kann ich mir auch nicht erklären.
