HP - 6215 und Ethernet-Anschluss

Hallo Leute, für meine Frau würde ich gerne das Multifunktionsgerät HP Office-Jet 6215 anschaffen. Diese Variante hat einen USB und einen Ethernetanschluss, welchen ich auch gerne netzwerkweit verwenden möchte. Alle Clients sind Linux-getrieben. Da ich Drucker/Scannermässig nicht ganz auf der Höhe der Zeit bin, wollte ich Euch mal zu Eurer Meinung fragen: Wegen des reinen Druckens mache ich mir eigentlich keine Sorgen. Gedanken mache ich mir mehr zum Kopieren und Scannen über den LAN-Anschluss. Kennt jemand das Gerät oder hat damit praktische Erfahrung? Sind die Funktionen(usser Fax) des Gerätes über Ethernet nutzbar? Linuxprinting.org ist leider etwas allgemein und beschreibt lediglich die Gesamtserie 62. Hallo, Liste, ich habe mir vermutlich den Name/Bind9 zerschossen und finde den Fehler nicht. Beim Booten des Clients kommt an der Stelle NFS mount: can't get adress from SERVER /home liegt auf dem SERVER und kann natürlich nun nicht vom CLIENT erreicht werden. PING CLIENT vom Server funktioniert PING IP-DES-CLIENTS vom Server funktioniert PING IP-DES-SERVERS vom Client funktioniert Ein PING SERVER vom Client meldet unknown host Habe folgendes überprüft: DSL: DNS wird nicht von T-Online geholt DSL: DNS wird nicht aktualisiert named.conf: wird nicht modifiziert forwarders.conf enthält an erster Stelle IP des Servers, an zweiter und dritter die Nameserver von T-Online. /var/lib/named: mydomain.files und mydomain.files.rev scheinen korrekt exports und hosts scheinen auch korrekt. DNS-Server: Hostname SERVER und Domain SERVER.INTRA scheinen korrekt eingetragen, Die IP vom Server und der beiden von T-Online stehen drin, ebenso die Suchdomain SERVER.INTRA NFS-Server läuft und scheint auch richtig eingetragen in Übereinstimmung mit exports in rcnamed status habe ich keine Fehler entdeckt netstat zeigt auch, dass named läuft. Firewall ist für intern abgeschaltet, Firewall ganz aus bringt auch nichts apache2 ist abgeschaltet Wie könnte ich den Fehler aufspüren? Abhilfe? Hallo Liste, ich moechte eine Datei taeglich per cron-job und scp von einem Quellrechner zu einem Zielrechner kopieren, also scp dateiname.tgz zielrechner:/home/user Wie muss das Script weiter lauten, damit user und Passwort automatisch eingetragen und akzeptiert werden ? Frank

Netzwerkproblem nach Update auf 10.0

Hallo Liste! Nach dem Update auf 10.0 will mein Laptop nicht mehr ins Netzwerk. Ich bekomme keinen Ping auf den Server, obwohl die zuständigen Lämpchen am Switch freundlich grün Leuchten. Firewall am Laptop habe ich abgeschaltet und die Netzwerkkarte scheint mir richtig konfiguriert. Nun bin ich am Ende meiner Möglichkeiten und hoffe auf eure Hilfe. Das Kuriose ist, dass ich mit dem parallel installierten ungeliebten Windows ebensowenig Probleme habe, wie mit Knoppix. MfG Michael

Hallo, hat jemand ein SSH Programm wie z.b. Putty allerdings auf webbasierender Oberfläche. Ich möchte gern wenn ich unterwegs von jedem rechner XY mich auf meinem Server einwählen können. ALlerdings ist es z.b. recht schwierig von einer Firma hast, wegen dieser Firewall. Wer hat das schonmal geschafft. Bei webmin kommt bei mir schonmal applet class not found, tippe mal darauf aber dass es daheim geht, da hier in der arbeit sehr viele Sachen gesperrt sind. Überspringen eines Patches in YOU

Hallo Liste, ich benutze Suse 9.3 und die OpenOffice RPMs direkt von openoffice.org. Zur Zeit die aktuelle Version 2.0.0rc2. Aber das Problem trat auch bei früheren Versionen auf: Wenn ich von YAST aus das Online Update starte, ist der erste Patch oft für OpenOffice. Diesen möchste ich aber gar nicht einspielen, weil a) ich mir die RPMs selber von openoffice.org hole b) der Patch nicht durchläuft und nach langer! Zeit mit Fehler abbricht und sich OO danach nicht mehr starten lässt. Nun meine Frage: Wie kann ich in yast das Einspielen des Patches von OO überspringen ? Ich gehe bisher folgendermassen vor: - mark "Manuelle Auswahl von Patches" - weiter In dem linken oberen Fenster, das mir die verfügbaren Patches anzeigt, steht OO an erster Stelle. Ich kann nur togglen zwischen dem "Haken" und dem "Z". Das Label darunter zeigt: "Patch-Kategorie anzeigen: installierbare Patches" Sobald ich auf Übernehmen klicke, fängt es mit OO an ... Weiß jemand von euch, wie ich OO überspringen kann? Danke, Michael
