Hallo Zusammen, ich benötige zu demonstrationszwecken ein Programm, was ein Traceroute zu einem Host grafisch darstellt. Unter Windows hatte ich so ein Tool. Kennt jemand so ein Programm für Linux. Hallo Liste, Warum bekomme ich folgende Warnung wenn ich dem Linux Router FTP freigebe? "Warning: wierd character in interface '-i' (no aliases, :,! or *)" Regel: iptables -A FORWARD -p TCP -o $EXTERN -i $INTERN --dport 21 \ --sport 1024:65535 -m state --state NEW,ESTABLISHED,RELATED \ -j ACCEPT Was verursacht die Warnung? Grosse Partiontion langsamer als kleine

Hallo! Was hindert mich daran eine 40G Platte nur mit einer Partition zu versehen. Ist eine 40G Partition langsamer im Zugriff als z.B. eine 20G Partion? Cheers Oliver

(Einrichten des Sounds mit YAST2 funktionierte nicht) SUSE 7.1 Kernel 2.4.17 Hat jemand einen Tip fuer mich ?? Falls jemand auch einen OnBoard Sound basierend auf den 'via8233' Chip hat, so waere fuer ein '/etc/asound.conf' Auszug aus '/etc/modules.conf' per PM Dankbar ! KBiff streikt

Ich habe einen Mailserver in meinem LAN. Die Clients greifen über IMAP auf die Postfächer zu. Jetzt will ich noch mit KBiff die Benachrichtigung für neue Mails einrichten. Tja, nu ist das aber so, dass KBiff mir die neuen Mails nicht anzeigt. Ich finde leider keinen Anhaltspunkt, woran das liegen könnte. Die Konfiguration: Protokoll: imap4 Verzeichnis: /var/spool/mail/frank Server: mother.home.local User: frank Passwort: **** Das Postfach wird alle 60 Sekunden abgefragt. In /var/log/mail finde ich folgenden Eintrag: imapd: imap service init from 192.168.1.100 imapd: login user=frank host=jake.home.local [192.168.1.100] imapd: command end of file, while reading line user=frank host jake.home.local [192.168.1.100] Der Eintrag kommt jede Minute. Moin! Ich habe ein Problem mit ProFTP. Ich möchte mehrere Vitual-Hosts auf einem Rechner einrichten (alle verwenden gleiche IP und Port) aber jeder User soll in seinem Home-Verzeichniss gefangen bleiben und nicht in Verzeichnisse unterhalb von seinem springen oder browsen können...... Könnt Ihr mir weiterhelfen? Danke im Vorraus! Gruß, Manuel

Hallo! Ich habe eine Homefree netzwerkkarte, und um diese zum laufen zu bringen muss man anscheinden das modul dazu bauen, da es nicht im Kernel mit dabei ist. Ich habe den Standardkenel, und SuSE7.3.
