HylaFAX+ und libtiff 4.6.0

Hallo Alle die HylaFAX+ benutzen sollten kein update der libtiff auf die Version 4.6.0 machen. Da die Tools nicht mehr im Paket dabei sind, kommt es dann zu Problemen. Lee Howard ist das Problem bekannt, es gibt aber im Moment noch keine Loesung. Holger

Firefox: Mikrophon bleibt stumm

Hallo *, seit einem der letzten größeren Firefox-Updates unter OpenSUSE 15.4 bleibt bei Videokonferenzen hier das Mikrophon stumm. Ich weiche dann auf den Browser "Falkon" aus, aber vielleicht weiß hier ja jemand, was da faul ist. Was ich bisher versucht habe ist einfach das Nutzerverzeichnis in .mozilla neu schreiben zu lassen, aber das war auch nicht zielführend. Die Webcam funktioniert, aber weder das Mikro in der Cam noch das im Headset laufen unter Firefox 115.2.1esr (64-Bit) Gruß Robert -- Homepage: https://www.familiegrosskopf.de/robert

[OT] Anmeldung bei dieser Mailingliste

Hallo In der heutigen Zusammenkunft der LUG war eine Frage, warum es einem Interessenten an SuSE nicht gelingen wollte sich in dieser Mailingliste einzutragen. Seine Subscribe-Mail kamen immer wieder als "unzustellbar" zurück. Es hat bei mir dann auch einige Zeit gebraucht, bis ich bemerkt habe, dass die mit den Schlagworten "Mailingliste OpenSUSE Deutsch" gefütterte Suchmaschine mir einen Adresse, konkret meine ich <https://de.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Kommunikation> zurück gibt, die auf die nun schon länger nicht mehr gültige Listenadresse verweist. Ist bei (Open)SuSE denn wirklich niemand mehr in der Lage solche Quellen, wenn schon nicht einigermaßen zeitnah zu pflegen, diese inzwischen ungültigen wenigstens vom Netz zu nehmen? Die folgende Anmeldung über die z.Z. gültige Adresse hat dann sogar mich erst mal zum grübeln gebracht. Bis ich erkannt habe, was da zu machen ist. Benutzerfreundlich und übersichtlich, besonders für einen Neueinsteiger, ist das n.m.M. nicht gerade. -- JUK

Downgrade von Tumbleweed auf Slowroll

Hallo zusammen, ich wollte von den ständigen updates bei tumbleweed auf eine wenige anstrengende Distro umsteigen, da kam mir die neu slowroo sehr gelegen. Ich habe also : cd /etc/zypp/repos.d tar -cvf repos.d.tar repos.d/ rm /etc/zypp.d/repos.d/* zypper ar http://cdn.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/ALP:/Experimental:/Slowroll/… base-non-oss zypper ar -p 80 --refresh http://cdn.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/ALP:/Experimental:/Slowroll/… update zypper ar --disable http://cdn.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/ALP:/Experimental:/Slowroll/… base-src-oss zypper ar http://codecs.opensuse.org/openh264/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/ h264 zypper ar -p 70 http://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/packman/suse/openSUSE_Slowroll/Essentials/ packman zypper dup sync reboot Alles soweit ich das bisher sehe völlig in Ordnung. Der Rechner zeigt in Grub immer noch Tumbleweed und aber dann ich hatte vorher einen kernel 6.5.3-..default, dieser sollte durch 6.4.12-1-.default ersetzt werden, hat aber wohl nicht funktioniert. Sound bei Livestreams

Hi, (Leap 15.5; FF aus main/update-repo) letztens kam ich hier <https://www.zdf.de/live-tv> vorbei. Der Sound war schrecklich. Dumpf und verzerrt. Erstaunlicherweise war der Sound bei getesteten Filmen aus der Mediathek glasklar. Ok, also wohl eins der 'üblichen' Probleme mit dem Codec ... Im Allgemeine fällt mir so etwas nicht sofort auf da Multimedia hier eher selten benötigt wird ... aber jetzt wo ich ich weiß will ich es richten. Hier <https://paste.opensuse.org/pastes/f72452358472> habe ich mal abgelegt was ich diesbezgl. installiert habe. Es ist halt das übliche Geraffel von packman. Hallo Liste, in der .procmailrc kann in einem Filter mehrere Kriterien verwenden, wie z. B.: :0: * (penguinrandomhouse.de|beltz.de|timetex.de|eduki.com|lugert-verlag.de) inbox Ein Filter mit From sieht bei mir dann so aus: :0: * ^From.*(a)mailman2.bpb.de bpb Gibt es auch hier die Möglichkeit, dass ich in einer Zeile mehrere Froms angeben kann? evolution zeigt keine Mail-Inhalte

Hallo liebe Liste, seit heute zeigt evolution 3.42.4 bei mir in Mails nur noch die Header-Zeilen an, aber der eigentliche Mailinhalt ist in einer Zeile verschwunden, die ca 3 mm groß ist. Darin lässt sich zwar scrollen, aber natürlich nichts lesen. Das ist bei allen Mailkonten und allen Mails so. Kann mir jemand die Lösung des Problems sagen? Vielen Dank! Grub broken after Tumbleweed update yesterday - anybody else?

Hi there, I did a zypper dup yesterday afternoon on my ryzen 5 laptop, and when I wanted to reboot later, grub failed with a rescue prompt. I can access the file system, but some efi files are missing. I guess I know how to fix this, but I was interested if I am the only one that is experiencing this problem? Hallo, habe mein Leap-System von 15.3 auf 15.5 upgedatet. Info in Systemeinstellungen/Anzeige-Einrichtung behauptet nun, 1024x768 wäre die einzige in dieser Anzeige verfügbare Auflösung. Das kann doch nicht sein, oder? Bitte um Hilfe, Johannes
