Software RAID1 Problem: Ich bekomme das ganze nicht bootbar

Hallo alle zusammen, Ich habe heute einen SuSE 9.1 Rechner installiert: /dev/hda: (76GB) hda1 Dell Utility hda2 aktive primäre Partition, für /boot hda3 extended hda5 swap hda6 hda7 hda8 hda9 hda10 /dev/hdb: (78GB) hdb1 aktive primäre Partition, ext3 für /boot hdb3 extended hdb5 swap hdb6 hdb7 hdb8 hdb9 hdb10 hdb11 überschüssige ext3 Partition Folgende RAID1 Partitionen sind eingerichtet: /dev/md0 /tmp ext3 (hda6 und hdb6) /dev/md1 / ext3 (hda7 und hdb7) /dev/md2 /var ext3 (hda8 und hdb8) /dev/md3 /svr reiserfs (hda9 und hdb9) /dev/md4 /home ext3 (hda10 und hdb10) /dev/md5 /boot ext3 (hda2 und hdb1) Ich habe das System ganz normal installiert. Alles ging glatt. Nach dem ersten Booten gab's anderweitige Probleme (siehe andere Mail). Nach dem ersten richtigen Booten funktioniert Lilo irgendwie nicht und ich kann nicht booten. Ich kann mit dem Rescue System der CD alle der RAID1 Partitionen fehlerlos mounten und mir den Inhalt anzeigen lassen. Kein Problem. Wie gehe ich jetzt am besten vor, um das ganze System startbar zu machen? Ich würde also gerne von außen entweder lilo oder grub so nachinstallieren/konfigurieren, dass das System von /dev/md5 booten kann. Wer kann mir da in Kürze und mit Würze die nötigen Schritte erläutern? Wie muss meine lilo.conf aussehen, wenn ich lilo verwenden möchte? Dann wäre da noch ein anderes Problem, siehe zweite Mail... danke jedenfalls im Voraus, Tobias W.

Probelm mit Grub

Hallo noch ein kleine Probelm mit Grub: wenn ich den Mode von silent auf verbose stelle dann bekommen ich immer noch den Bildschirm "Plesae press F2...." Leider habe ich keine Docu dieser Parameter gefunden - weis jemand wo die steht? Oder habe ich da was grundsätzliches falsch gemacht? Gruß und Dank Michael -- Encrypted eMail welcome! Hallo, ich habe vermutlich ein Probelm mit dem Modul sg. Mein SCSI scanner wurde bei der Installation der 9.1 nicht erkannt. Das ist bekannt und es gibt einen Artikel in der SDB. Das Modul sg wird u.U. nicht automatisch geladen. Ich habe wie dort beschrieben das Modul der VAriablen MODULES_LOADED_ON_BOOT zugewiesen und siehe da. Es tut, der scanner wurde erkannt. Nach einem reboot, bekomme ich aber nun immer die Fehlermeldung: set permissions /dev/sg1 failed reload slpd failed Mehr konnte ich nicht finden. Hallo Liste, habe folgendes Problem in Suse 9.1: konnte meine WLAN-Karte richtig in YAST konfigurieren und es ging auch. Nach ca 3x booten ging nichts mehr. Jetzt liefert mir iwconfig folgendes: wlan0 IEEE 802.11b ESSID:"" Nickname:"linux" Mode:Auto Frequency:2.462GHz Access Point: FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF Bit Rate=11Mb/s Tx-Power:20 dBm Sensitivity=0/3 RTS thr=2432 B Fragment thr=2432 B Encryption key:off Power Management:off Link Quality:100/100 Signal level:-95 dBm Noise level:-256 dBm Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0 eth0 no wireless extensions. sit0 no wireless extensions. Die Einstellungen in Yast sind aber nach wie vor: Mode: managed und ESSID:"any" - wurde anfangs auch mit iwconfig richtig gemeldet. Jetzt kann ich keine Verbindung mehr zum Accesspoint aufbauen. Was hat sich da in der Zwischenzeit ohne mein zutun getan? Nachdem nichts mehr ging hab ich dann auch noch die onboard Netzkarte konfiguriert - auch ohne Erfolg. Kann das mit dem Treiber - ndiswrapper - was zu tun haben? Wie bring ich die Sache wieder zum laufen? Danke! Oliver Lowig

Wenn du allerdings zu Hause direkt in Internet kommst musst du die Eintstellungen wieder zurücknehmen. Wobei use_proxy = off reichen müsste. sg

Hallo, Ich verwende mozilla 1.6. Folgende Seite ruft er nicht auf bzw. man bekommt den Hinweis: "530 Login incorrect". Die Adresse ist: ftp1.thewebdiscount.com Mit Konqueror komme ich in den Autorisierungsdialog, also wo ich Benutzername und Passwort eingeben kann. Was ist daran schuld?
