US Sportster Message Plus zurücksetzen

Hallo zusammen, ich habe ein Modem "Sportster Message Plus" von US Robotics. Nach dem Surfen bzw. dem Mail-Abrufen möchte ich, dass das Modem wieder in die Bereitschaft zum Fax-Empfang zurückgeschaltet wird. In der Anleitung habe ich nichts gefunden. Weiss jemand, wie ich dies unter Linux machen kann? Vielen Dank im Vorraus. News-Mails in Mails konvertieren

Hi, hat jemand schon einmal z.B: mit leafnode geladene Mails versucht in ein Mailformat zu bringen ? Ziel ist es, auch die Mails aus Newsgruppen im BODY durchsuchen zu können. ------ Ich habe es schon mal gemacht, für Netscape. Ich habe alle Einzelmails in eine große Datei kopiert, jeder news per awk eine Zeile From - Wed Oct 11 11:11:11 1999 vorangestellt, mämlich genau vor "PATH: ". Das geht in 98% der Fälle gut, Netscape liefert die Newsgroup-Mails dann auch schön nach threads sortiert, jedoch die Sortierung nach Datum klappt dann nicht mehr, vermutlich weil alle das gleiche FROM-Datum haben. Hat jemand eine intelligentere Methode auf Lager ? IBM DB2 unter SuSE Linux 6.3 Teil 2

Hallo Liste, ich habe bei mir SuSE 6.3 nochmal frisch installiert (Standard). Dann habe ich versucht die IBM DB2 - Datenbank samt Clientsoftware zu installieren. Leider kommt sofort folgende Fehlermeldung: Log started at Mon Feb 7 22:39:56 CET 2000 The log file can be found in /tmp/db2setup.log. Hallo zusammen, bei vielen integrierten Systemen z.B. in der Luftfahrttechnik wird als Bildschirmschriftart "OCR A" ("Klarschrift") verwendet. Ich finde den sehr gut lesbar und hätte den gerne auf meinem heimischen Schirm. Gibt es sowas auch als Console-Font für Linux oder gibt es irgendwo einen brauchbaren grafischen Fonteditor für Linux? Hallo Ich habe SuSE Linux 6.3. Linux ändert immer die Uhrzeit im Bios. Immer wenn ich Linux beende und danach neustarte, ist die Uhrzeit im Bios verändert. Ich habe schon verschiedene Timezones ausprobiert. Wie kann ich Linux, sagen, dass es sich die Uhrzeit aus dem CMOS holen soll und nicht die eigene ins CMOS schreiben? Bitte helft mir! Hello Steffen, << Versuch mal, in der Konfiguration fuer Deine VMware die Unterstuetzung fuer den "serial port" wegzulassen ("COM1" - "COM4" not installed), >> Yep, das war's. << wenn Du dort die Unterstuetzung der "serial ports" nicht unbedingt brauchst. >> Schade, genau die brauche ich. Aber irgendwie führt meine maschine wohl ein eigenleben: ein paarmal klappte es mit gestartetem faxgetty, heute hing w98 wieder. Merkwürdig, dass vmware selbst startet, erst bei power-on ist dann die vollbremsung. Gibt's da irgendwo ein lock-file vielleicht? Aber andererseits: mit laufendem faxgetty kann ich ja problemlos mit wvdial ins internet. Erstmal danke für die hilfe, ich werd' mal sehen, was sich noch zerbasteln lässt.
