Hallo , an meinem Netscape funktioniert alles, nur in der Menüleiste fehlen die bunten ICONS ??? Warum ??? kppp-1.16.23: Probleme beim Beenden

hallo, wenn ich als non-root kppp beenden will wird nur die erste kppp-instanz, nicht aber die zweite und vor allen Dingen nicht der pppd beendet. "Nicht" heißt hier mehr oder minder regelmäßig. Eine Logik ist nicht zu erkennen. (Einwahl als non-root und Nutzung als root sind problemlos). Wer weiß Rat??? SB 16 PnP - was fehlt noch??

Hi SuSE-User!!!! Ich versuche seit laengerem vergeblich meine Soundkarte (s.o.) einzurichten!! Allerdings kann ich bislang nur CDs ab- spielen, WAV's, MP3's und CO verweigern noch den Dienst.... Wer hat obige Soundkarte und kann mir die Datei "isapnp.conf" zumailen?? Ich bin mir naemlich nicht sicher, ob ich da alles richtig auskommentiert habe.... Im Kernel habe ich die notwendigen Teile als Modul geladen...muss ich sonst noch etwas tun, oder war das alles??? Waere nett, wenn mir jemand helfen koennte... VMWare und Netzwerk

Hallo Liste Ich hab VMWare/Win95 installiert und versuche gerade ein Netzwerk zwischen Guest-OS und Linux-Host aufzubauen, bis jetzt leider ohne Erfolg. ping an den Host (192.186.0.0) funktioniert, alle anderen IP-Adressen im Bereich 192.186.0.xxx sind tot. Routingtabelle des Kernels: Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 192.168.0.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 vmnet1 loopback * 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe wird jetzt alles was an 192.168.0.xxx geroutet werden soll an vmnet1 und damit an das virtuelle Netzwerk geleitet. VMware ist folgendermassen konfiguriert: -- /etc/vmware/config -- vmnet1.HostOnlyAddress = "192.168.0.0" vmnet1.HostOnlyNetMask = "255.255.255.0" -- /etc/vmware/vmnet1.conf -- subnet 192.168.0.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 { range 192.168.0.128 192.168.0.254; option domain-name-servers 192.168.0.0; option broadcast-address 192.168.0.255; } Unter Win95 hab ich unter Systemsteuerung -> Netzwerk -> TCP/IP 192.168.0.0 als Gateway, 192.186.0.128 als IP und 255.255.255.0 als Subnet-Mask eingetragen. Was mache ich falsch bzw. was habe ich vergessen? Danke im Voraus. scsi platte formatieren
