Version 4.4.5 of the Qt Python IDE Eric has been released. The most
recent version on the openSUSE repositories is 4.4.2, which was
released in March. There is also a 5.0.0 release candidate. Maybe
4.4.5 can go in the KDE4:desktop and backports repository and 5.0.0
can go in KDE4:playground. Currently, at least in openSUSE 11.2, the
KDE4:desktop repositories have 4.3.6, which was released in august,
while the backports and KDE4:playground repositories have the more
recent stable 4.4.2 version. It was at least my impression that
KDE4:desktop and backports would normally have the same version of
packages while playground would only have unstable packages.
