Hi Fellow KDErs,
I've been trying to remove the Dolphin and Firefox launchers from the bottom toolbar
without sucess. Every time after booting I remove them and the next restart/boot
they are back again.
Is there some way to remove them permanently?
Thanks, Tom

I have amarok 2.6 building in KR49.
It not builds fine, the only issue is I had to disable the
ksuseinstall integration patch, since it no longer applies (and the
methods it modifies seem to have disappeared entirely).
However, Amarok 2.6 has not been officially released. I have
publishing disabled on KR49, and would like to submit the updated
package to KDF as well, but I would prefer someone disable building
there before I submit in order to prevent an accidental early release.
I can't do it myself since I don't have write access to that repo.
Thanks.

Hi,
as a preparation of the openSUSE 12.2 announcement I've merged my latest
maintenance update for 12.2 to KDE:Distro:Stable.
Publishing is currently disabled, once it built and I was able to test it I'll
enable it.
KDE:Distro:Factory is now open for some KDE 4.9 merging fun. Anyone interested
in helping with that?
Thanks,
Dirk

12.2 RC1 x86_64
Open the logout/shutdown dialog more than once. A bar along the top of
the screen becomes scrambled. I also get this on 12.1 w/ KDE 4.8.4

I have an issue with the current version of Plasma NetworkManager, 0.9.0.2, in
openSUSE 12.1. I learned that 0.9.0.4 is available. Is it possible to update
the current version to that version in the appropriate repository.

Guys,
Just wondering if, prior to release, it will be made possible for users to log in
to their systems correctly?
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=728554
Or if somebody would mind integrating the supplied patch so that it is possible
to log in via VNC?
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=771745
Thanks.

Reviewing the latest amarok submission to Factory, I noticed in
SR#131411 the following change:
+- Remove ksuseinstall patch entirely
the patch has this description:
-# PATCH-FEATURE-OPENSUSE ksuseinstall.diff llunak(a)novell.com -- Support
for on-demand codecs install using ksuseinstall
This is a removal of a feature that I remember was quite important for
openSUSE in the past. Is the KDE team really going to remove this and
want this in?
Note: I'm sanity checking, it's your call to decide but I wanted you to
discuss the change to know whether to accept or reject it,
Andreas

Hi,
as we somehow missed the deadline for submitting KDE 4.8.5 to openSUSE 12.2, I
would suggest to do a maintenance update to 4.8.5 immediately and make it
ready for all 12.2 users soon.
Any issues with me submitting that as an update now?
Thanks,
Dirk
