Will LibreOffice be available again for KDE? I could probably get used
to the slight optical differences I encountered so far, but not with the
fact that shortcuts have vanished (e.g. in the "Paste Special" dialog
box) so I now need to use the mouse much more often than before.
Regards,
Achim.

I'm running Leap 42.3 KDE/Plasma and am having difficulties getting this
configuration to work as it did/does in SuSE-13.2. I am using Nvidia's
proprietary driver and its nvidia-settings pgm to configure it. It
appears to try to work but not good enough. For instance, to just
describe a couple of things:
I set my display via "export DISPLAY=:0.1" then start an application
like konsole. It does start on the correct DISPLAY but the
minimize/maximize and exit buttons don't show up.
If I right click somewhere in DISPLAY :0.1, I get no response like I do
in 13.2.
Some application buttons in some applications don't show up at all or
ignored when clicked on.
The nvidia-settings pgm creates an /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. It it
possible that these seperate xscreen settings should be somewhere in
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d instead?
Can someone say for certain that this even works in Leap?
Thanks
Mark

Hi,
I'm using openSuse 42.3 and starting today when I want to print a email
message the box with the message that kmail is going to open an external
browser appears, I click yes for chrome browser and it doesn't render the
message to print, just shows the plain html text. But ... if I open the file
produced by kmail to the browser (with the format kontact.raSPiE) with
firefox, it renders to print. But ... if I alter the name of the file to
kontact.raSPiE.html, Chrome renders it to print.
I've tried to change the default browser to firefox, but kmail always call
Chrome.
Any ideas or similar experiences.

Somehow after a restart of my Plasma session in Tumbleweed I loose all entries
in the History of the Starter, both for Applications and Files. On a similar
system this is not the case. How can I get the old behavior back?

Any clue here that suggests a missing dep or package rather than a bug,
something that I can to do to not have a black screen that eventually aborts the

GDM, LightDM, SDDM all lack required features that KDM provides.
Fresh minimal 20180410 TW installation.
plasma5-workspace and plasma5-session are installed.
/usr/share/xsession/plasma5.desktop exists
/etc/alternatives/ has kdm as default displaymanager
/etc/alternatives/ has plasma5.desktop as default xsession
What could be missing that session types are limited to Custom, IceWM, IceWM
Session, LXQt and Failsafe?

Shorty, KF5/Qt5 RKWard is finally almost out. It will work only with upcoming
R 3.5 (not with R 3.4 and older) and R 3.5 will likely not work with RKWard
0.6 (its extra patching would be required). Dear packages, could You, please,
have look at it to avoid incompatibility of R and RKWard versions?
