[opensuse-kde] right click does not work sometimes

Hello, i use openSUSE 10.3 32bit with its standard KDE 3.5.7. I have the problem that often, especially in KMail and Kontact I get now context menu when i right click on a folder or other items like a message. The same happens to konqueror when used in file browsing mode, when I right click on an icon i simply get no context menu. Sometimes this behaviour persists for minutes after it goes again, very annoying! My mouse is okay, it is a Logitech MX400. Is this a Qt or KDE bug? [opensuse-kde] My "favourite" RC1 KDE bugs

These are some bugs that I'd really like to see given high priority in the next two weeks until GM. They may not be very serious from a technical point of view, but they are very much right in the face of every single user, and hence do a lot to expose 11.1 for the Fedora that it is. Fixing these would do a hell of a lot to at least make 11.1 appear to be a polished product on surface. [opensuse-kde] plasma problem

Hi. I'm having a plasma problem and I'd like to ask some advice here before submitting a bug report because I highly suspect I'm the only one it happens to. I've been regularly installing the updates for KDE 4.2 unstable since they started work on it. In the beginning, I was able to remove and add widgets at will with no problems. A few builds into it, it stopped working that way. I could delete or rename the plasma config files and add widgets to my heart's content, but after I locked them, if I unlocked and tried to add again, plasma would lock up until I killed the xserver. I figured, okay, that's to be expected with alpha releases. However, now that there's a beta, I'm thinking surely it would stop doing that by now. If it had been reported previously, someone would have taken notice and worked on it, right? Sure enough, I looked though the bugs on the opensuse site and the KDE site and didn't find a darned thing. Even google failed me. I have to say that everything else works fine while plasma is locked up, but the sudden uselessness of plasma puts a serious cramp in my style. And I started with a new ~/.kde4 directory with this release. Hello, when I make a reboot or shutdown and a other user is registered, a window is opening in the KDE session? On my System, then I have a broken background picture ? [opensuse-kde] KDE4 Hal.Device.PermissionDeniedByPolicy

Hi, I'm using the last KDE4 UNSTABLE from build service. When I try to access any removable device in dolphin I get the error in the statusbar: "An error occurred while acessing '(my device name)', the system responded: org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.PermissionDeniedByPolicy: org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount-removable no <-- (action, result) I don't know if I would be able to access the devices in gnome or kde3, once I have only kde4 unstable installed. [opensuse-kde] KMail and blank templates

Hi, after a fresh installation of KDE from UNSTABLE repo, I lost the templates in KMail (there's only %BLANK), so command like Reply, Forward, ..., doesn't fill a text to message. Can any user of KMail send me those templates (in Configure/Identities/Templates)? [opensuse-kde] Request to add packages to OSS repo

Hi, I posted this earlier to opensuse-packaging, but it was suggested to email it to this list, so here it goes: I'm the upstream developer of libindi (http://indi.sf.net), and this library is recommended for KStars in KDE 4.2+ in order to add telescope control functionality. Packages for OpenSUSE 11 and Factory are maintained in my home project here: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show?project=home%3Amutlaqja The packages are: + libindi + libapogee + libfli + libnova + sbig + indi-sbig + indi-apogee How can I request these packages to be added to the official OSS/KDE repo?
