Hi,
Running 10.2 with Kmail 1.9.5
I have always saved email messages from past versions of SuSE. I now have
an odd mix of Mailbox & Mail Directories. (About 100 under the local
directory) Would like to convert them all to be the same. Don't know
which I should use. What are the pro's and con's of either type?

Hello,
after working in one project with a photo/ picture programm for Windows from
Adobe I found that program in some cases more space efficient - eg. smaller
fonts, little space between checkboxes etc.
I like unices and especially KDE for their efforts in beeing consistent in
design (even the utilitys for burning, musik, scanning, ... :-) and therefore
I dont want eg gwenview, digikam, amarok, k3b developing their own UI but...
Is there a possibility in (SuSE)-KDE-design to allow sort of "small screen
interface" or to implement special design rules for some parts of the UI?
I hope that my question is understandable...
Greetings

It's definitely a bug I'd say, and my guess is that it's on the packaging
level, not the upstream code.
openSUSE KDE-maintainers accept bug reports even for the unsupported
packages - if you post it to bugzilla.novell.com to component KDE - make sure
you mention that you're using the unofficial buildservice packages. But some
if not all of them also read this list.. but prolly none of them have floppy
drives to test with like you and me ;-)

Hello List,
this week I have updated KDE to Version 3.5.7 "release 10.1". Since then , I
can't find the floppy disk symbol in the kicker applet "Storage Media" any
more.
I have created a new user (just to see if there's the same behaviour). And
there is also no floppy symbol.
The floppy is not shown in Konqui's sidebar -> system:/media also.
The same on the desktop when enabling "show devices on desktop".
Configuring what devices (mounted / unmounted) to show will work for
USB, CDROM, DVD, etc. , but not for the floppy drive.
Anyone an idea how to get the floppy back?
In the meantime I will use kwikdisk, because there is the floppy listed.
Thanks
Heinrich

Hi all
A couple of questions:--
1) When i reply to emails, the cursor is dropped to the below the email i am
replying to as if it is adhering the reply protocol for message list
replies..
Is there any way to configure kmail to start my reply at the top of the email
i.e. above the mail i am replying to?
2) Auto-signature - when replying it always puts it below the email text I am
replying to, instead of either not applying it or putting it above the email.
This is happening in all folders and not just the folders I use for message
lists.
Thanks
Ian

Hello List
Since the upgrade to the latest KDE Packages from the Build Service,
i can not LogIn into www.di.fm anymore.
This Site is a Online Radio, and if you pay a bit, you get a higher
Stream, anyway...
To LogIn, you give your Username and Password, which can be managed
with kwallet. This is how it worked till the upgrade, but now i
find myself back on the LogIn Site after given my LogIn.
So, how can i find out what this site is doing, and why
konqueror/kwallet can´t handle this anymore ?
Firefox and opera are still working fine with this site, so my Login
is working.
Thanks
Michael

Hallo,
Danke
Christian

sorry, but my English is a bit poor, so I didn't get the advice what to
do to fix the problem.

Hello,
just starting a new catchy topic so everyone notices: KDE 3.5.7 was released
today and the build service has packages for them available:
