Hi,
after upgrading my kde from the builtree on a 10.2-i686 installation
(added installation sources kde and kde-backports, done a zypper -r
up; something i do every few weeks and never had problems before), i
get a message after login saying that there's no gpg agent running.
Trying to hunt down the buggy part of the rather convoluted scripts
that start a kde session is rather painful; does anyone have an idea
where and what is breaking here?
bye,
MH

Hi there, I am having problems installing Jokosher. Each time I try and do the packages it wants, It says conflicts. Can someone advise me on how to install this. Or is there something better out there.

Hello!
I use the KDE4 packages for 10.2. When I switch the window-decoration to
oxygen I just get plain red as window-decoration. Is that just the way SVN
currently and in the past few weeks looks, or is there a bug in relation to
my graphics driver (nvidia) or any other setting on my system. I remove
my .kde* directories for the kde4 user regularly. I tried to switch composite
on/off.
My second issue concerns Qt 4.3. I use Psi SVN and since the last few versions
of the Qt packages I noticed that while scrolling lists and text-windows, the
picture gets distorted, i.e. a lot of lines with different bits of the actual
text.
Further, it happens quite often that the Psi-windows intersect with other
windows i.e. are not kept as different layers above/below each other. I
thought it would be a Psi bug, yet I notice the same in KDE4 when scrolling
the plasmoid-list. If you scroll often enough up and down you will notice
that the list will show duplicate entries which are just graphical errors and
not really there. Is that a known bug in Qt 4.3?
I would appreciate any hints that help me to decide whether it would be useful
to report these issues as bugs or not.
Sven

Hi,
"Suddenly" (or so it seems), I can not change wallpaper from the
KDesktop configuration dialog.
kcontrol -> Appearance & Themes -> Background, no settings in this
dialog has any effects on the background.
Running kcmshell background in a terminal does not produce any
errors/output when changing the background settings, and they are not
applied.
I can however, change the background with dcop call (|dcop kdesktop
KBackgroundIface setWallpaper|), but that changes nothing in the desktop
configuration dialog (it is out of sync with reality).
I have not upgraded any KDE packages recently, which could have broken
it, and I did change the wallpaper not long ago, without problems.
Any ideas ?
Qt: 3.3.7
KDE: 3.5.6 "release 31.1"
