Hello, today i have a update with 5xx Updates,from the KDE: repositories, OK but one Error is Back, the Problem with 2 Monitors :-(. But the other is gone now again the Problem with last App and Document? [opensuse-kde] KDE repos for 42.2

Is there a problem with KDE repos for 42.2 at the moment? Most but not all (e.g. kwayland) packages in http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Frameworks5/openSUSE_Leap_42… appear to require Qt 5.8 but http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Qt5/openSUSE_Leap_42.2/ seems to contain a weird mixture of Qt 5.7.1 and Qt 5.8. [opensuse-kde] Tumbleweed Build 510 Dolphin is missing the ability to change icon size of folders in the left panel

Hi all, I did a fresh install of Tumbleweed Build 510 Plasma 5.9.5. I noticed when you right-click on the icons in the left panel I can no longer change the the size of the folders. The only work around was to manually add the following to dolphinrc. [PlacesPanel] IconSize=32 Cheers! [opensuse-kde] A docker container to develop on opensuse

Hey, I've been trying to create a docker image to develop KDE stuff on opensuse. It's basically opensuse:42.2 with "zypper -n in -t pattern devel_kde" on top. [opensuse-kde] KDE:Frameworks5 now hosts the Plasma 5.10 beta

Hello, On the heels from the latest beta release from KDE[1], KDE:Frameworks5 now contains the Plasma 5.10 beta (currently under review for Tumbleweed inclusion once the final version is out) and KDE Frameworks 5.34 (already submitted to Tumbleweed). The final version of Plasma 5.10 is scheduled to be released upstream on May 30th. Testing, both for packaging problems (report to bugs.opensuse.org) and upstream issues (report to bugs.kde.org) is very welcome! [opensuse-kde] The Application Menu Bar has been backported from Plasma 5.9.5 to Leap 42.3 Plasma 5.8.6 LTS

The "Application Menu Bar" was been backported from Plasma 5.9.5 and is now available in the latest build of 42.3. Just right click on the desktop and select the Application Menu Bar. Place the bar at the top pf the screen. The menus i.e kate will appear on the menu bar (from most Qt apps) excluding Firefox, Chrome, Chromium and GNOME applications. Then select Configure Desktop->Application Style->Fine Tuning - click on the Application dropdown arrow and select the "Application Menu Bar" widget. You might have to log out and log in. Cheers! Hi, It would be nice if there would be volunteer to create Breeze icon theme for YaST2 to look more consistent in KDE Plasma 5 if Breeze icons for desktop selected. See also discussion in https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2017-02/msg00227.html Note, Oxygen icon theme still exist (and still complete), it was just no longer used since around openSUSE 13.2 version. But now yast-theme 3.2.2 source package is fixed to again provide yast2-branding-openSUSE-Oxygen package to switch into Oxygen icon. [opensuse-kde] Plasma 5 - Clicking a link opens TWO tabs in firefox

Hi, lately I've been having this weird behaviour where clicking on a link in a mail in kmail, or in an article in akregator, will open a new firefox, even when FF is already running, which will have one empty tab and one tab with the link I've clicked on. When FF is *not* running it's even more weird, I get the same two tabs, one empty and one with the link, but in two separate windows... Any ideas? The only thing that I can see right now is that a running FF is not registered with dbus... Cheers Mathias

[opensuse-kde] kmail lost ability to use gpg

Hi, $subject says it all: I can't use gpg with kmail anymore. I do have valid keys, gpg works fine, and until recently it worked fine with kmail, too. In actual fact, receiving gpg signed mails still works, decrypting sill works, but when I try to send gpg signed or encrypted mail I get "you did not configure a key for that identity", and when I try to set the key the dropdowns in the crypto tab of the identity are all DISABLED.
