Hi,
Running 10.2 with Kmail 1.9.5
I have always saved email messages from past versions of SuSE. I now have
an odd mix of Mailbox & Mail Directories. (About 100 under the local
directory) Would like to convert them all to be the same. Don't know
which I should use. What are the pro's and con's of either type?

Is there anyway of disabling the eye on the kickoff menu icon?
I've made an alternative icon which is a .png image and renamed it
kmenu_basic.mng, but the eye is still displayed :(
Any help with this would be appreciated.

When I send an e-mail to more than one recipient, Kmail offers the option of
saving the list of addresses in a 'Distribution list'. Very useful. Is it
possible to open this distribution list, presumably from KAddress, in order
to edit it? Sometimes members of a particular group change, and it would be
nice to be able to add new members or remove old members.

I have a dual monitor setup and it seems to be confusing the Alt-Tab behavior.
I want Alt-Tab to include all the windows, on all the monitors, on all the
desktops. I have the dual monitors set up in the Xinerama Multihead mode,
where it is "one big display out of all screens".
I have the option set in KDE, under Window Behavior, to "Travers windows on
al desktops", which in my old BSD setup, did what I wanted. But in
this setup, it only shows me the windows that are showing on the active display.
It does show all the windows from all the desktops, but only for that monitor,
which is weird.
Is there another setting I can play with? A bug in KDE?

I have a bunch of old cds with pcd files on them. What can I
use to view them in KDE or otherwise for that matter?

Hi all.
Where are the to be started programs in the system-tray of kicker konfigured?
It's not in the .kde/Autostart directory.
I reckon this is about session-management. But how do i prevent a certain prg
from appearing on each kde login (im my case: the pesky knetworkmanager)?
Cheers
....Volker

I am running the latest kde packages from the build server as of march 8th.
not sure which package is responsible, but in kate, kwrite, quanta, and
perhaps others, selections are not behaving as they should. this can be seen
by opening a text file, clicking anywhere in the file then holding shift and
clicking anywhere else.
also when you double/triple click before, after, or in a space of a line of
text, it jumps to the start of the file instead of selecting the line.
i just talked with the kdedevs and they seem to think its a problem with the
suse packages OR the issue has already been fixed in the svn because they
could not reproduce the bug
Yaloki also tested this and saw the same behavior

Thanks for all.

Hey,
I must logon after powering on my thinkpad after suspend to ram, all
KDE-Programms killed. Can I configure my system (OpenSuSE 10.2) to
resume the work without opening all my programms again?
Kind regards

I have downloaded the most recent kde packages from the buildserver as of 3/10
and restarted. The odd behavior mentioned in my earlier email remains. It
does seem that it sometimes work now where before it did not seem to ever
work properly. please let me know if i can provide any other information to
help solve this bug.
