[opensuse-kde] elarun splash with KDM?

What actually controls what splash is available, the greeter/DM, or the DE? Is there a TW or Leap package I can install to get Elarun in KF5 instead of a choice between Breeze and nothing? Configure splash doesn't provide a way to see where the selections live so as to be able to run rpm -qf on them to see what rpm owns them. Installing kde4-wallpaper-default got Elarun for the desktop wallpaper, but not for splash. SDDM isn't an option due to KDM features SDDM lacks, unless SDDM can be used just for configuration access to optional splashes and not required to be the configured greeter. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." [opensuse-kde] missing window decorations, again

TW freshly zypper up'd to 20150831 and now running 5.12.0 on 32 bit 2.8GHz single core P4. This is hardly the first host this has happened on over the years. Every time I get frustrated trying to figure out what packages provide window decorations so that I can install something to get window decorations back. It seems like in the past it was usually something with string oxygen in package name, but I just went through this again without remembering what fixed it the last time, less than a month ago. This time I figured out kdeartwork4-decorations was a/the missing requirement. Has whatever is required to produce window decorations been changing over the past few months or years, with old named packages periodically being removed without ensuring via rpm dependency something else takes their place(es)? -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." [opensuse-kde] leap + kde session

I noticed that with "restore last session" in KDE the plasmoids and order on the screen is lost. If this is intentional, O.K. but then shouldn't we advice new user to change the default because otherwise they will loose their personalization (plasmoids and their position)? [opensuse-kde] want to update upstream bug product from plasma4

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=229984 This was assigned product plasma4, component panel. I wished it applied to current version, but there is no plasma5 product in the select list. I figured out the equivalent product by searching for panel to see it should be plasmashell, but surely there must be a more efficient way. [opensuse-kde] Dolphin Icon Size Changed with Plasma 5.4.0

Hi, I just upgraded to Plasma 5.4.0 on Tumbleweed, and the Icons have changed size when viewed in Dolphin. Either they are too big or are too small, but the inbetween setting that looked just right with the last few versions of Plasma 5 is now gone. I'm talking about when you use the slider at the bottom right hand side of the window. The first thing I noticed when on 5.4.0 was all the icons in Dolphin looked really tiny to me. Is there a way to revert this change? I really don't like it.
