[opensuse-kde] How do I import kDEPIM3 email to kdepim4 ?

For a long time now, I have been using the KDE3 version of kontact (KDEPIM3) for all my email. I'm trying to migrate this over to the version of KDEPIM4 that comes with opensuse 42.2. I just can't figure out how to do it. I've tried using the mail exporter tool, setting the program to look at a copy of .kde/share/apps/kmail/mail, but it never starts downloading anything. Hi guys, I need Kmidimon but: # zypper in kmidimon Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... Resolving package dependencies... Problem: kmidimon-0.7.5-3.1.x86_64 requires kdebase4-runtime >= 4.14.0, but this requirement cannot be provided uninstallable providers: kdebase4-runtime-16.08.2-1.1.x86_64[download.opensuse.org-oss] Solution 1: Following actions will be done: downgrade of libkde4-4.14.27-33.5.x86_64 to libkde4-4.14.25-1.1.x86_64 downgrade of libkdecore4-4.14.27-33.5.x86_64 to libkdecore4-4.14.25-1.1.x86_64 Solution 2: do not install kmidimon-0.7.5-3.1.x86_64 Solution 3: break kmidimon-0.7.5-3.1.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies Uhmm.. What to do ? [opensuse-kde] No advanced properties in okular

Hi, after upgrading to okular 16.12 from 16.08 I cannot find the way to choose the source of paper. In 16.08 it was under properties-advanced. Now in 16.12 under properties the place for advanced is ocuppied by "Job options" which does not offer the possibility to change the source of paper. Am I missing something? Hello, I have removed older repositories on KDE:Unstable:Extra, in paricular openSUSE 13.1 and 13.2, which are both EOL'd. This is an effort to clean up the KDE:(Unstable):Extra repository, which has become a kind of dumping ground for everything. [opensuse-kde] FYI: 13.2 and 42.1 support will be dropped in most KDE: repositories, other reorganizations

Hello, in an effort to save build power and reorganize repositories where it makes sense, we're removing support for 13.2 in the KDE: repositories. This is due to the fact that 13.2 is now EOL'd and the base system is so old that it's difficult to get new dependencies there. For a similar reason we're removing support for Leap 42.1 from KDE:Applications and KDE:Frameworks5 (and the :Unstable equivalents). The same caveats apply there. 42.1 users will still be able to use the LTS variants of Plasma and Frameworks at KDE:Frameworks5:LTS. Support for 42.1 will remain in KDE:Extra, because the dependencies are less strict there. Lastly, KDE:Applications for Leap 42.2 will be adjusted in a way that it will *require* KDE:Frameworks5 to be present. The reasoning is that otherwise it will be impossible to build some parts of the stack (PIM in particular) with the 42.2 base.
