Have uploaded 2 more images ([1]) (.png) that show the cut-off icons
from Dolphin and Gwenview toolbars. They are at higher resolution, so
it should be seen on these.

This did not make any change, the icons (lower parts) still get cut.

Ok, I am re-posting the same above 2 images ( [3] & [4] ), with the
errant 'Text under the icons in the Toolbar' outlined by ellipse;
again : _pl see at full (zoom=100%) magnification_.
Look at the text underneath the toolbar icons - the upper part of the
text under all the toolbar icons is cut-off - this happens for all
apps run in KDE 4.2.1, even KDE 3.5 applications, such as
Gwenview/KDE3.
I don't think I will be able to do any better than this,
image-hosting/editing-wise. And so, will just give up at this point,
if there is no forthcoming solution.
I can live with the slight cutting-off of the Toolbar icon text in KDE
4.2.1. Maybe it will be resolved in KDE 4.2.2 / 4.3.

had you downloaded them and then seen at 100% zoom, it may have been
clearer. Anyway, these 2 new ones are png and with a higher res of
1024 X 768.

Hello,
in my 11.1 installation I have no key repeat in any program?
Is this a kde4 Problem or a Xorg Problem ?
Have any found a workaround ?

In Personal Settings > Appearance > Style (2nd Tab) > Fine Tuning :
Selected 'Text alongside Icons' (instead of 'Text under icons') . This
solved the top of icon text being cut-off.
However, it reverts to cut-off text if 'Text under icons' is opted for.
(Images [5] & [6] below show proper icons & text on toolbar)

I have checked the two svn version and found the missing update that is
causing the build errors for kdebindings.
I have create a small patch for the 945504 snapshot and successfully
build the packages. I have submitted the patch to the
KDE:KDE4:UNSTABLE:Desktop repository (submitreq no 8561).

Hi Daniele, Can you try the newer version in KDE:KDE4:Community ? Also
please let me know which kde4-smb4k packages you have installed ?
(output from rpm -qa | grep kde4-smb4k)
Thanks

Hi Stephan,
Both these packages are already in the KDE4:Community repository. Also
SMB4K is in it's 0.10.2 version in openSUSE:Factory:Contrib repository
and with the latest svn version in de KDE4:Community.
I am currently maintaining these packages, however due to the KDE4 port
I have renamed them to kde4-kvpnc and kde4-smb4k.
Please let me know if I should submit them for openSUSE:Factory (and
what the naming convention should be)

I have submitted just a few minutes ago an update request for the
kdebindings4, python-kde4 and ruby-kde4 packages from the
KDE4:UNSTABLE:Desktop repository.
These changes will solve the build errors that occurred last weekend
with the update to the 945504 snapshot. The above packages will now be
based on the 946564 snapshot.
Another change is that ruby-kde4 requires now the libsmokenepomuk.so and
I have enabled this in the kdebindings4 and ruby-kde4 packages.

Here are the images (with the ellipse outline) on Imageshack (can be
