[opensuse-kde] Problem connecting ktp to jabber accounts since update to 13.1

Hi, since the update to opensuse 13.1 I have the problem that I can not any more connect to my jabber/xmpp accounts using KDE Telepathy. I have two individual accounts at different jabber servers. The error message is something like "The service is unavailable" (translated from German). The Google talk account works however. When connecting with kopete, I have no problems. Does anyone have the same problems or can tell me what I can try to further analize/solve the problem? [opensuse-kde] broken KDE-4.10.5 repo for 12.2???

I tried to upgrade a P4HT 64 bit 12.1/4.9.5 installation to 12.2/4.10.5[1] using zypper, but every session start segfaults in kdeinit4 without ever painting any kind of panel or app starter. Is this a known problem, and if so, is it expected to be solved before 12.2 support ceases? Exactly what package(s) is/are responsible for the existence of panel and app starter in KDE4? hello, in opensuse 13.1 hauppauge tv card BT... is not recognized anymore by Yast. It was an upgrade from 12.3 to 13.1.... [opensuse-kde] Translations for Dutch in KDE 4.11.2 are not up-to-date

I am using an up-to-date version of openSUSE 13.1 with KDE 4.11.2. However I found a wrongly translated term in one of the applications, which was corrected on Aug 2, 2013. Long enough before the release of 4.11.2 on Oct 1, which apparently is the current release used in openSUSE 13.1. So my question is: how is it possible that the translations for KDE 4.11.2 are not in line with the release in use in openSUSE 13.1? What can I do to improve this situation? -- fr.gr. Hi all, I've just upgraded to 13.1 and found KDE to be 4.11.2 Here http://en.opensuse.org/KDE_repositories#Upstream_release_aka._KR411_.28KDE_… I read: "As indicated updates on KDE SC 4.11 are delivered for the openSUSE 13.1 users as maintenance updates. Therefore for oS 13.1 users, there is no need to activate this specific repository." I'd first try a different monospace family than your currently selected one. Try Droid Sans Mono and/or DejaVu Sans Mono, especially if the current selection is Misc Fixed. [opensuse-kde] phonon-vlc vs. packman

The current version of phonon-vlc is conflicting with the updated version of vlc in packman, since it requires exactly vlc-nox-2.1.0 while the current version of vlc-nox is 2.1.1. I am using openSUSE-13.1 but it it is probably a problem for openSUSE-12.3 as well. Would it be possible to link to the version of vlc in multimedia:libs and enable it for at least 12.3 and 13.1?
