[opensuse-kde] Removing Dolphin launcher?

Hi Fellow KDErs, I've been trying to remove the Dolphin and Firefox launchers from the bottom toolbar without sucess. Every time after booting I remove them and the next restart/boot they are back again. Is there some way to remove them permanently? Thanks, Tom -- “What we do for ourselves dies with us. [opensuse-kde] Akregator did not close correctly. Would you like to restore the previous session? Minor Annoying

It would be only on this system with openSUSE 12.2 KDE 4.10.00r1 from KR410 or just because is the only one with this mix on it. openSUSE 12.3 KDE 4.10.00r1 is not affected. Everytime the Akregator integrated on Kontact is opened this message is displayed. It doesn't matter if click on "Restore Session, Do Not Restore, Ask Me Later" options, the next session will show it again. http://paste.opensuse.org/89487407 Any advice? [opensuse-kde] KMail 4.10 thrash-folder vanished

Hi there, since some time i cant see my trash-folder in kmail 4.10. I can move mails to thrash, but there are no thrash visible in the local folder list. How can I get the thrash back? [opensuse-kde] Kmail "Retrieving Folder Contents" problem - again

I realize this has come up in bug reports for a long time and been supposedly resolved apparently more than once.. But on my machine, it has never been resolved and now seems to be worse. Go to a folder, click on a message, and the Kmail screen appears with the "Retrieving Folder Contents . . . please wait" message. At times this happens entering one folder after another, for just a few moments. Most of the time the message remains for a good while (I haven't timed it), applies to all folders, and eventually the folders return to normal. I can restart the Akonadi server which clears the condition, but I can't be doing this repeatedly through the day. Furthermore, the last time I did that the messages in 2 large folders were gone; they came back at a later time but that is a risk I don't care to take. Googling returned suggestions to modify the Akanodi control file, change the database, export/import the messages, etc. Besides that all being a royal PITA, more importantly I'm not changing anything w/o knowing that what I'm doing is still even relevant to the problem as it is now. So just what is the status with this now? Is there a real solution available? Kernel 3.4.28-2.20 x64, KDE 4.9.5 "release 4" from 4.9 repo. The Akonadi server config is the defaults, i.e., internal MySQL server. Using gmail's POP server (IMAP is not an option). [opensuse-kde] kmail 4.10 problem after reboot

The problem that I have with kmail is that after a reboot no emails are downloaded from my pop providers. Sending email also does not work. In order to get kmail functioning as expected I have to logout and login. After this kmail works. Have no idea what is not functioning. Where do I start looking for the source of my problem? [opensuse-kde] Wallpaper for new screen locking utility in KDE-4.10

Hi all, KDE-4.10 brings a new utility to lock the screen. It is a complete reimplementation to solve issues with reliability. Works fine for me so far, so I like it. That utility uses a background/wallpaper and I am unable to change it. Before the release it was written in numerous discussions that the utility will use the configured theme to decide about hte wallpaper. However this appears not to be the case. The wallpaper in use apepars to be independant of the configured desktop theme. [opensuse-kde] branding detail

Hi, On my 12.2 with KDF system there is a small branding bug. In /usr/share/kde4/apps/kdeui/about/ there are two body-backgrounds. On my system the png is chosen, which is the upstream branding, not opensuse's (which is a jpg). This is not the intention I imagine.
