Okular 0.8
KDE 4.2.0 release 102
When printing PDF document and selecting Print-->Options-->Output
Settings ->copies = 2, print job only prints one copy. Job IPP report only
shows one copy and paper size A4. Print options shows two copies and
paper size Letter.
I do not know if this is OKULAR or CUPS problem but the OOo writer
version of the document prints multiple copies ok and paper size ok.
Has anyone else seen this behavior? I will check bug reports later today and
if none filed I'll file one.
Thanks for any comments.

Hello Weekly News Team,
yesterday i called with Jan-Simon. He says me that a new Section is
wished from the different Projects. (Idea was from Bryen (suseRocks).
So i created an new Template for them. The new Section is called
"Projects Corner". The template can be found at:
http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE_Weekly_News/ProjectsCorner .
The Projects Corner can be published one per month. So the Projects can
be publish own Articles, that can't be found at Mailinglists and IRC.
I've created the Template 3 Corners: KDE, GNOME and Education. Every
Time if an Project has an Article ready, they can post it to the
Marketing List.
We are publishing this in the Projects Corner.

Dear openSUSE KDE Users
While we prepare the KDE 4.2.1 packages, we have disabled publishing the built
packages on the KDE 4.2 repo and its dependencies: KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop,
KDE:KDE4:Factory:Extra-Apps, and the KDE:KDE4:Community repos that build vs
F:D.
This means you won't see any updates on those repos for a few days. The
planned release date for 4.2.1 is March 4 2009.

Hello SuSE-KDE people.
In KDE3.5 kwrite had a nice little magnifier in the tool bar that would
change the font size. In 4.1 it is gone.
Are the dev's purposely not thinking of sight impaired people? Hope it won't
be necessary to make a request to bring back a functionality that was already
there.

Hi,
The previous update made my desktop icons, and thus links unusable.
Trying to get sysinfo back seems to be more difficult as i thought, as i
am not able to find it...
I need it to keep track of the versions i am using.
I was thinking of going back to the default settings, and customize
again from there.
I forgot what to throw away/rename to rebuild the default desktop,
unless somebody knows where sysinfo is 'hidden'.
I thought it would be in /usr/share/applications/, or
/usr/share/applications/kde4/, but they are not.
So, i would not mind a hint ;)

Hi,
There's a nice little NetworkManager applet for KDE4 in 11.1...it worked
well for me on my wireless network at home and I was looking for an 11.0,
but could'nt find one. I tried to build it through the BS, but it gave me
some errors. Can it be backported for 11.0 as well?

Hi all
My openSUSE 11.1 for x86_64 desktop running KDE 4.2.0 from buildservice
is configured to use Xine Phonon backend for sound and video. Latest
Xine packages from packman are installed. Yesterday I've upgraded to
the latest KDE 4.2.0 packages from build service. As a result amarok is
refusing to play any soundtracks. Interestingly, pressing "Test" in
"Sound and Video Configuration" work fine. If I switch to Gstreamer and
do "rcalsasound restart", then amarok is working again. Anyone else has
the same problem?
Regards,
Vadym
