[opensuse-kde] rekonq, konquerror and arora - crashd
hello together, My System: openSUSE 11.2 + KDE 4.4.4 (32bit) If the web browser I use rekonq or arora, this fall, shortly after the start from just! At the start of the tools out of the console, following them out error message! Start Message: (process:9090): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: gtype.c:2458: initialization assertion failed, use IA__g_type_init() prior to this function (process:9090): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion `initialization_value != 0' failed (process:9090): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_new: assertion `G_TYPE_IS_OBJECT (object_type)' failed KCrash: Application 'rekonq' crashing... sock_file=/home/linuxsusefan/.kde4/socket-linux-vku1/kdeinit4__0 :End Message Any of you an idea how I would get rid of this error? The main cause for this problem is that Adobe for some retarded reason removed the function to initialize GTK from Flash. That doesn't effect GTK browser (eg Firefox), because GTK is already initialized. There is a fix for QtWebKit to initialize GTK from there, but that patch was only committed to Qt 4.7beta and so far Novell/SUSE did not care to apply that patch to Qt 4.6.3 and update the copy in the repo.
