Somehow the packages in the above repository got updated to trunk, the same as in KKUD itself which wasn't much use. so I have reverted them to 4.5 branch snapshots building vs 4.5 from KDE:Distro:Factory. Once kdepim 4.5 is actually released, coinciding with one of the 4.5 point releases, this subproject can go away. Until then we can point people at it who want to try and lose their email. This is a minor and temporary abuse of KKUD as a namespace if you are locked into the idea that it all bases off trunk, but fits fine if you think of it as where the unstable stuff in the next release lives. Please don't overwrite it when updating the KKUD snapshots, Dirk! And please copy it into the new name for KKUD when we decide that. [opensuse-kde] digikam 1.3 problem - QT4 sqlite - KDE Backport repository - opensuse 11.2

A little report for the KDE Backport maintainers System: opensuse 11.2 64bit, all updates, standard repositories plus Packman und Backport. Last week the backport repository offered an update from digikam 1.2 to 1.3. An installation brought the follwing error message: -------------------------------- Run-time QT4 SQlite and MySQL database plugin is not available - please install it. Database plugins installed on your computer are listed below: - QSQLITE - ----------------------- Yast shows that 64bit plugins are present, 32bit plugins not so. As the the system performed with version 1.2 without problems, I suppose that some dependencies are not solved within the 1.3 package. Returning to 1.2 was not possible, it has been removed from Backport. [opensuse-kde] opensuse 11.3 dolphin thumbnails text wrong encoding

Hi all, can someone confirm these non behaviour Before with 11.2 & kde 4.3.5 all things was working. Now with opensuse 11.3 & kde 4.4.4 : I've seen this. I've setup dolphin to generate thumbnails for text documents (For .vcard, .txt, .log. etc if there's non ascii string inside the file, the thumbnails contain mal formed utf-8 char) I don't know how to find and attach one of those. [opensuse-kde] Akonadi Resources for Google in openSUSE 11.3

Greetings. Trying to get in to Akonadi & Nepomuk features I found out that the needed packages for the Google apps integration (akonadi-googledata-x.x...) are currently in a factory (unstable?) repo: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/openSUSE_11.3_KDE_Dist… Does this mean that those packages and therefore the google integration features are not stable? Hello, Will told me on IRC to send my repository request to this mailing list, so here it is :-) As some of you already know, I'm working with Frank Karlitschek on the Open-PC and I would like to know if it's possible to build the OEM image on build.o.o (KDE:Open-PC maybe?) This image is basically openSUSE/KDE + some custom rpm packages (artwork and default settings). http://en.opensuse.org/KDE_repositories#UNSTABLE_.28KDE_trunk.29 mentions that for 11.3, there should be a openSUSE_11.3_KDE4_UNSTABLE_Desktop repository building for KDE:Extra. Looking at https://build.opensuse.org/project/repositories?project=KDE%3AExtra shows that there are only 11.3 and openSUSE_11.3_KDE_Distro_Factory repos being built. Are the UNSTABLE repos planned or should the links be removed from the wiki? [opensuse-kde] KDE 4.3.5 KMail and IMAP sent folder

Hi there, I use openSUSE 11.2 on x64 and KDE 4.3.5. I use IMAP and my sent folder is on the IMAP server. Nevertheless, sometimes KMail stores the sent mail *not* on the IMAP sent folder, but on my old local folder I used before IMAP. Of course, in my identity I have set the IMAP sent folder as the sent folder. How can I make KMail *always* use the IMAP sent folder for sent mail? Hi. I don't know if the 11.3 Goldmaster image has already been created. If it's already too late for two K3b fixes to be included on the image, they should at very least be offered as online update for 11.3. Hi, I must have missed something crucial so I hope someone can spell it out for me so my slow mind can understand - what exactly is the idea now about upstream kde releases being built for opensuse? Right now, I start seeing 4.5.60 packages being built for UNSTABLE, before 4.5.0 has been released. Does this mean the only way I will ever get to test 4.5.0 without having 4.6 alpha packages included is to build it myself? If so, just please say so, because then I will immediately unsubscribe from all KDE:/ repositories, because they have then become fundamentally useless to me, and I will simply revert to building the packages myself like the bad old days So, what exactly is the deal?
