Hi! How can one export Konqueror bookmarks to html file? I found how to export the bookmarks to .xml but the file created is not readable easily: for example Mozilla displays a message like this: ' This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.' ty /radu

Junk Mail.

Dear List Members, Having lost a lot of important business mail, I am enquiring as to whether members have found a successful way of dealing with 'junk'. Could it be that 'Evolution' is being selective and not including some mail, or has my enthusiasm for deletion got the better of me! Very fortunately I also have Mutt on board and that which was lost, was collected. Has anyone tryed Spamassasin or other utility for selecting out junk and more importantly does it work. problem with konqueror after update of kde

After having updated kde to version 3.1.4 using the suse rpms and installation with yast i encounter a problem with konqueror. I get an error message telling me that konqueror is not able to deal with text/html files. I cleared the link between konqueror and html and fille in the data agin in K-center. Without positive result. Can somebody please help me? Regards Hans

Trouble with KDE 3.1.4 on SuSE 8.1 - Downgrade to 3.1.3 possible?

Hi All! I have some problems on my SuSE 8.1 after updaten to KDE 3.1.4 bye using YaST2. Problems: - Kicker do not start automatically - I cant start some application by klicking the icon on the desktop or panel. When i start the application by using the shell it works fine without any problems - When i want to access on a nfs-server konqueror needs more than 1 minute to start / list I did not have this problem with KDE 3.1.3! - Is there any way to downgrade my KDE version to KDE 3.1.3? - I didnt find the old packages in ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/u… Any ideas? I also have a problem since KDE 3.1.0: I Cannot mount any nfs-server bye klicking the icon on the desktop. I allway have to use the dialog "Mount" ( left mouseklick on icon ). Thx! kde 3.1.4 for suse 8.1

Did anyone already install kde-3.1.4 on suse-8.1 As far as I can determine some packages are missing, with the most important one being kdebase3: Inst kdebase3 [3.1.1-76] (3.1.3-75 SuSE:8.1/stable) Further more the following packages are not updated either: kdeaddons3-kate: 3.1.1-27 -> 3.1.3-17 kdeaddons3-kicker: 3.1.1-27 -> 3.1.3-17 kdeaddons3-konqueror: 3.1.1-27 -> 3.1.3-17 kdeaddons3-sound: 3.1.1-27 -> 3.1.3-17 kdeartwork3-sound: 3.1.1-39 -> 3.1.3-68 kdebase3-kdm: 3.1.1-76 -> 3.1.3-75 kdebase3-ksysguardd: 3.1.1-76 -> 3.1.3-75 kdebase3-nsplugin: 3.1.1-76 -> 3.1.3-75 kdenetwork3-chat: 3.1.1-86 -> 3.1.3-23 For the above packages 3.1.4 versions are available for suse-8.2. Hiding kmenuedit at kmenu button

Hi, is it possible to deactivate the kmenuedit entry which appears if you do a rightclick on the kmenu button? I haven't found anything at the kickerrc. Is there a kiosk-option I can use? KDE Version is 3.1.3 on a SuSE 8.2. Thanks, Mike

Hi, seems that kmail 1.5.4 still cannot handle signed mails other than from the built-in gpg support. I've tried to update to KDE 3.1.4 from updates on SuSE and wrecked KDE Started with libs YaST Asked for newer Qt Installed newer Qt ("static" from elsewhere on SuSE) Retried to install libs YaST asked for newer Qt again Decided this must a transient issue and forced installation May I ask for suggested ways forward: Can I try and rebuild the RPM database? Can force install KDE 3.1.1 from SuSE 8.2 DVD and start again? May I ask why the process above (prior to the "force") didn't work? TIA
