[opensuse-kde] KDE 5.7 Leap_42.1 second Monitor broken

Hello, On my System after Update to 5.7 I have Problems with the Monitors ? After restart I have only one Monitor the second have a black window :-(. but I can start Programs on the black window (?). I can also reconfigure this mistake .. I have to set the default Monitor to my Black window is in normal Time the Primary Monitor then deactivate the the second Monitor and activate it again? Then I have the Monitors working again. But this is not saved after a reboot / start I have the same Problem. Have any a hint ? -- mit freundlichen Grüßen / best regards, Günther J. Hello, when I instal / update to KDE 5.7 from Repositories /KDE:/....with Qt5 repo it is not possible to start a displaymanager ? SDDM have a white Window, all other don't work ? Hi. I did a fresh Tumbleweed installation recently and TBH I find the selections of default packages less than ideal. I hope you'll find my suggestions helpful: The "worst offender" IMO is that by default there are four (!) different ways exposed to the user via K_Menu icons to add and configure printers: system-config-printer, CUPS icon to launch the web interface, YaST, and KDE System Settings. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwhPBqc5eehzZG11VmNqcXJlM2M https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwhPBqc5eehzY3pzVEFzZUk1S0E (the rendering error in system-config-printer's menu don't make it better) There are also a bunch of applications that cover rather specific niche cases: hugin - Stitching panoramas kruler - Count pixels kompare - Compare files konqueror - Two browsers are overkill. Konqueror is also behind in web technologies; plus you don't seem to track https://github.com/annulen/webkit to ship bug fixes. konversation - IRC is nice but the general public doesn't use it. libqt5-linguist and libQt5Designer5 - For developers only. The latter because of a weird dependency. Several *-32bit are also installed in TW 64bit but that has probably nothing to do with KDE software (didn't check the dependency tree, though). In addition I propose those packages to include in the default installation: discover - More approachable than YaST plasma5-session-wayland - For Plasma 5.6 or 5.7. Install only, not default yet. noto-emoji-fonts & noto-sans-symbols-fonts - Emoji and Dingbats are the norm nowadays. They shouldn't show up as placeholder boxes. [opensuse-kde] geeko missing from kde start menu

Hi All, I am using Tumbleweed (but the same apply to Leap 42.1) and Plasma 5. The icon of KDE start menu (application menu) is K instead of Geeko. I did not tested with KDE 4 or Gnome. By tradition Geeko was there as part of openSUSE branding. Please bring Geeko back so it will be easy to identify that we are running openSUSE and not KDE/Gnome on whatever distro. I don't know how openSUSE marketing team missed this such long time... Also, Geeko is missing from Tumleweed wallpaper (it is present in Leap). [opensuse-kde] Location of KF5 locale files

Hi everyone, currently %{kf5_localedir} is set to /usr/share/locale/kf5. While this is apparently set that way to make it co-installable with KDE4 applications (as somehow the 5 is not in the filename), it causes various bugs as the subdirectories beneath /usr/share/locale/kf5 are expected to be language codes. The result is that rpm's find-lang.sh uses "kf5" as language, which it does not recognize and treats it as "en". This causes that "bundle-lang-kde-en" contains all translations for KF5. Any idea how to fix that properly? I assume the co-installability is still required for 13.2. [opensuse-kde] Where can I find the today calendar icon with arrow pointing to the right

Hi all, When using the oxygen icon theme. Where is the today calendar icon that is shown in dolphin? It's the icon with the red arrow that starts from the left side of the icon and points to the right? I've looked in assets. I can find yesterday, this month and last month but the one with the red arrow cannot be found. -- Cheers! Tumbleweed, up-to-date 20160701 One of my laptops has "resize" grayed out/unselectable in settings, but only in a plasma5/kde session, not in an icewm session.
