[opensuse-kde] Clicking logout does not disable mouse clicks

Hi A silly question. At the moment on Tumbleweed/Plasma, the logout process (click logout to clearing the desktop) has slowed down again (it did this a while ago) - its not slow in the grand scheme of things but it does allow you to click away and launch programs. Shouldn't the keyboard/mouse be disabled/ignored as soon as the logout i selected? Hi there, is there any replacement for the KDE5 theme engine Aurorae? [opensuse-kde] Qt5.6 assistant does not use webkit

I just upgraded libqt5-qttools (on openSuse 13.2) from KDE:Qt5 to the Qt 5.6 version libqt5-qttools-5.6.0-97.1.x86_64 What I see now is that assistant-qt5 no longer uses WebKit to render the documentation - which makes it unusable. [opensuse-kde] ownCloud Client Dolphin Overlay Icon Plugin

Hi, I am currently working on a package for overlay icons that show the sync state of files in dolphin for ownCloud sync client. That is nice for users, and we have that for nautilus and nemo for quite some time, and finally now also for dolphin \o/ But the plugin does not work on openSUSE (at least in Leap plus updates, where updates are required because we need at least KF 5.16). The problems are tracked in https://github.com/owncloud/client/issues/4674 I would appreciate any help on this. Maybe its a problem in ownCloud Clients cmake files, maybe its a problem in openSUSEs KF5 cmake modules installing to the wrong dirs, I am not sure. [opensuse-kde] Tumbleweed, plasmashell segfaults.

since issue 20160406 I can no longer run plasma5/kde5. plasmashell segfaults. What to do to correct and/or trouble shoot? I have five systems currently running tw and two with problems: desktop nvidia GTS 450 toshiba laptop intel i915 display did snapper rollback on toshiba to 20160401. First snapshot that appeared to be stable. Not really up long enough to confirm. and NO IDEA what has happened. zypper ve report all's well do not really want to play with toshiba as it IS usable, but I can with the desktop. [opensuse-kde] How to debug a crash freeze

Since several month I try to understand (from time to time) why one of my tumbleweed computer freeze. I post here, cause it only happen if the graphics session is running. It's a pure default plasma5 tumbleweed (installed in December) and regulary updates with only oss repository. What happen is a complete freeze of the graphical interface, with no more data on screen The whole computer is frozen (no sysreq, no network) following journalctl -b -f -n 256 from a remote location didn't give a clue of what happening. If the computer is started without plasma5 opened, it can runs days without any problems. (Same under windows 7 & 10 no trouble, even with heavy games). The hardware is a AMD FX8120 cpu with 16Gb ram + a samsung 840Pro SSD. TW use proposed partitionning with btrfs (That's why this computer is at its third new reinstallation ;-) the gpu is an old AMD HD5750 (~2008). It seems to me, that each time the screen dim or powerdown is involved the crash occurs. Can someone drive me to activate the right debug flags and try to grab a backtrace. [opensuse-kde] Upgrade to Plasma 5.6

Hi all, relatively new to OpenSUSE and still finding my way round Tumbleweed and zypper. Have previously used kubuntu for years. I'd like to upgrade to Plasma 5.6 and Frameworks 5.2 which I've seen other people mention doing. Did a zypper refresh/update which I presumed would, but it just left me at plasma 5.5.5 Would a "zypper dup" do the job? or would I need to add the SDB:KDE repositories first?
