[opensuse-kde] KDE4 system settings - click on the Gtk-Qt theme engine homepage doesn't open homepage

Hi. I´m on Beta1 and KDE 4.0.3 I don't know maybe it isn't a bug, but if i click on the Gtk-Qt theme engine homepage (System settings -> Appearance -> GTK Stzles and Fonts -> GTK Styles), no reaction. It doesn't open homepage. And next i want to ask. If i want to use Qt style for GTK apllications, should i install kde4-gtk-qt-engine package? If i´m right, would kde4-gtk-qt-engine package be installed by default? If it´s impossible to install kde4-gtk-qt-engine package by default, it could install kde4-gtk-qt-engine package for example via one-click by clicking on the Gtk-Qt theme engine homepage. On the Gtk-Qt theme engine homepage (probably it´s meant http://gtk-qt.ecs.soton.ac.uk/ ) is only source code. There isn´t mentioned which one package it is needed to install and i think that users won´t know which one package they should install to getting of Qt style for Gtk applications. What do you think or do you have any idea how to solve it? [opensuse-kde] KDE4 - Wrong iocharset in usb flash devices

Hi, Does anyone know how to configure kde to mount usb disk devices (vfat) with iso8859-1 charset? The device notifier mounts it with utf8 charset and I thing generally vfat filesystems aren't utf8. [opensuse-kde] Kickoff Menu Selection Area

Is there any possibility of us using the "filled-in" selection instead of the current "frame" selection in KDE4 Kickoff, like we used to? Every single menu on the desktop everywhere is consistent on this, it's both confusing (reminiscent more of a text-box) and unattractive as it stands. Is there any chance that we could patch it to return to how it was? There were some good ones posted a while back on panel-devel. [opensuse-kde] kde4 causing trouble

Hello SuSE users. Running 10.3 x86_64 Quite awhile back I did a one-click for kde4.01 It opened OK and kind of worked but 3.5.7 much more suited me. So I kind of ignored it for awhile. I noticed one thing though, when I did a kdesu on an application I got the kde4 version. Reported it on this list but nobody seemed to have an answer. Well, last night I decided to upgrade kde4 (all stable) So when I went to try it out it wouldn't open and I got this message "call to lnusertemp failed", Huh?? What is this? The upgrade broke what little value there was? No big deal right now. Don't really use it. Just wanted to see if it improved. Get to it eventually and do a little searching. Now I switch to kde3 and I find I cannot kdesu to any of my apps. (remember what I said in the 1st paragraph) I get this message,"There was an error loading the module Konqueror" and the same for Kwrite, Kate, and Firefox. This is bad. A screwed up kde4 is breaking my kde3 system. I went to /var/log/messages using MC and looked at the file. Nothing was readily apparent except these that I am not sure about. and may have nothing to do with this problem "sudo:bob:pam-authorization:conversation failed" and then there were a few other lines about gconfd that said gconf was read only and the GConf server was shutting down. Hope somebody can give me some direction on this. And BTW how does one go about uninstalling those hundreds of rpm's in kde4, Really don't want anything to do with it for now.
