[opensuse-kde] Slow moving windows and slow scrolling with openSUSE 10.2

Hello, I had suse 9.0 for about 3 years. I bought a new desktop, intel duo core 64-bit, and I installed openSUSE 10.2. The only problem I have is that the windows don't move smoothly when I move them from one spot to another! Also scrolling in firefox is such a pain, it looks like it's flipping pages rather than scrolling! Any ideas? I tried searching around for "slow scrolling" but I can't think of any terms. I don't think it's the hardware since the machine is new! Also I received the box with windows on it, and that problem did not occur, does that mean it's the driver? Any help is appreciated. [opensuse-kde] Updater applet for Gnome and KDE

The openSUSE updater is a desktop applet which shows the user the available updates (patches). It is very light and simple as the real work is done by the YaST solver. This allows us to provide one applet per desktop, much like you have a a NetworkManager applet per desktop. The KDE applet was born last year as a Google SoC project. Today I imported the opensuseupdater KDE applet sources from berlios to svn.opensuse.org/svn/zypp. The gnome applet was already in the zypp repository. [opensuse-kde] a question about how to develop kde4 app on suse 10.2

Hi, all, I used opensuse 10.2 and installed some package from here: http://software.opensuse.org/download/KDE:/KDE4/openSUSE_10.2/ I had installed cmake, libqt4, strigi, kdelibs, kdepimlibs, kdebase and devel packages for them. And I had followed the article to create my first kde4 app, http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Programming_Tutorial_KDE_4/Fi… When build, gcc way is ok now. But cmake way failed(make and makeobj both failed). Could you give me some hints on this topic? Thanks a lot. [opensuse-kde] Renaming of KDE:Community repositories

Hello, because of consistency and technical reasons the following distro repositories within the "KDE:Community" openSUSE Build Service project have to be renamed: KDE:/Community/KDE_Qt_SLES_9/ KDE:/Community/KDE_Qt_SLE_10/ KDE:/Community/KDE_Qt_SUSE_Linux_10.0/ KDE:/Community/KDE_Qt_SUSE_Linux_10.1/ They all will lose the "KDE_Qt_" part. Please change your YaST installation sources, the new repositories are already available on the server. The KDE:/Community/KDE_Qt_SUSE_Linux_9.3/ repository will be deleted once SUSE Linux 9.3 security support ends (which will happen during April).
