I already did that. I actually displays the (google) page and rest
of KDE in danish. It just does select an appropriate (8859-1) encoded
font to render the (google) page.
I have work-around it by uninstalling some fonts. An ugly work-around.

Hi.
I am new to this list.
I just intalled SuSE 8.1 Pro.
I launched Konqueror and went to google, and see that The fonts now
used to render google-buttons (and other text) does not render the
danish characters "æ", "ø", "å".
What can I do?
Jarl
Hi :-)
I have a problem with $QTDIR.
When I start assistant or qmake, these don't work unless I call
"export QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt3"
manually. echo $QTDIR in xterm puts out an empty row.
When I log in on tty1, QTDIR is set correct, also QTDIR is set in
/etc/SuSEconfig/profile as it should be.
/etc/SuSEconfig/profile is executed, I checked this by inserting "DUMMY=Test
export DUMMY". I don't understand why QTDIR is empty, the only explanation
for this I have is that somewhere "export QTDIR=" or something similar is
called. But that doesn't make sense :-/
I'm using Suse 8.0 with actual online updates (kde 3.0.4, qt 3.0.3 ...)
Thanks,
Kjell Morgenstern
Hi,
Since I upgraded to KDE 3.0.4, the logout windows has
only one option (the shutdown and reboot options has
gone!)
Does anyone knows how to recover these options?
Thanks in advance,
Jerry

I've had the same problem, too. It also happens with knotes 2.2x
under kde 3.01. I hope you get an answer on this.

...einmal glaubte ich zu irren, doch ich täuschte mich !!!
Hi All!
I am trying to create an Entitiy Relationship Diagram in Kivio and cannot
change the line ends. There is a pulldown list of various line ends,
including ones especially for ERDs. When I select a line end, it does not
seem to have any effect. I can select the first two in the list and they seem
to work. However, none of the other end work. I can change the line thickness
and color, just not the ends. Is this one of those things that is only
available in the $$$ version of Kivio? A bug? Or am I doing something wrong?
All help is greatly appreaciated.
Regards,
jimmo

Hi,
If someone uses KMail and signs his messages, KMail of course displays
the message with nice colors indicating that the message is properly
signed, the usual and expected behaviour of KMail.
But this dosn't happen if the signer uses Mutt, the the signature is
then always shown as an attachment and no automatic check of the
signature/message takes place.
Is this due to the way Mutt produces GnuPG signatures ? Do Mutt users
have to use some options to change that behaviour ? Nevertheless, it
would be nice if KMail could handle this, no matter how Mutt does the
signing of messages. Or is this issue already solved with KMail > 1.4.1
?
Thanx
Malte
