etckeeperについて皆さんに相談です。 upstreamにいくつかpullrequestを送付し、そのうち小さな修正は取り込まれました。しかし、以下の2つが大きな変更が取り込まれず pendingになっています。仕様を大きく変更してしまうので、おそらくupstreamには取り込まれないでしょう。これらの変更をopenSUSE独自のpatchとして適応するか否かの判断に迷っています。 etckeeperは割としょっちゅうソースが更新されているのでパッチを当てると、後々メンテが面倒になりそうです。 1. ZYpp pluginのタイムアウトに対するパッチ zypperやYaST 1 click installなど、ZYppが動作すると、 etckeeperはプラグインを通じて自動的に起動します。そして更新前・更新後の/etcの状態をVCSで管理しようとします。しかしこの動作が遅いという問題が有ります。 30秒かかってpluginがtimeoutしてしまいます。 (インストール自体は成功します。) そして、timeoutした場合、etckeeperの自動commitは成功しません。原因は解っています。 etckeeperはVCSのログにどのパッケージを追加・削除・変更したのかを記録します。この記録をするために、(アン)インストーラの起動前後で合計2回rpm -qa | sortでパッケージ一覧を取得し、その差分を取っています。試しに私の環境で今rpm -qaしてみると24.255秒かかりました。これを合計2回行うので30秒を超えてしまいZYppのpluginが timeoutします。そこで、このログにパッケージの増減リストを取るのを諦めて、 rpm -qaをさせないことをconfファイルに定義できるpatchを書きました。また、ZYppプラグインをサブパッケージにして、アンインストール可能にしました。 ZYppによるetckeeperの自動commitを必要としない人はプラグインだけをアンインストールできます。 (が、etckeeperの魅力が半減します。) こちらはパッチではなく、サブパッケージなのでリリースします。 2. canna-yubin-misc MLの皆さん canna-dev MLの皆さん opensuse-ja MLの皆さん 2014年07月版の郵便番号データが公表されました。これからcanna-yubinの2014年7月版の作成に取り掛かります。 sourceforge.jpに復活projectを立ち上げてから初の更新になります。郵便番号データの更新だけならすぐにできます。しかし約10年ぶりの更新になるのでドキュメント・debian/*ファイルなど古くなっているところがあります。 (https://sourceforge.jp/projects/canna-yubin/ticket/ 参照) また、8月1日〜3日はOSC@kyoto、 DocFest 2014 Aug. TO openSUSE-jaの皆さん canna-yubin辞書の更新時期が2週間を切りました。ところで、ふと思ったのですが、こういうのはどうでしょう? 私が昨年修正したpackageのうちcanna-yubinとtamagoは upstreamが消失して久しくなっています。そこで、今後どうせ更新していくなら、いっそのこと upstreamを復活させてみてはどうかと思うようになりました。細々とopenSUSEだけで面倒を見ていくより、その方が良いかなと思います。 canna-yubinの方は来月8月に更新を予定しているのでそれまでになんとかしたいです。 canna-dev MLあたりに投げて反応を見てみようかと思っています。 sourceforge.jpかGitHubで上げられたらいいかなと思っています。 tamagoの方はetckeeperが落ち着いたら連絡先を探してみようかなと思っています。皆さんのお考えを聞かせてください。もっともetckeeperでアップアップしているのでそれどころではないかもしれませんが…。 -- 1xx <ItSANgo(a)gmail.com> <https://twitter.com/ItSANgo> Mitsutoshi NAKANO <bkbin005(a)rinku.zaq.ne.jp> <http://d.hatena.ne.jp/Itisango/> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-ja+unsubscribe(a)opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-ja+owner(a)opensuse.org
