We are in the process creating branches: https://forgesvn1.novell.com/svn/suse-i18n/branches/SLE10SP1 For SLE10 SP1 https://forgesvn1.novell.com/svn/suse-i18n/branches/openSUSE-10_2-Branch For openSUSE 10.2 Thus far, none of these branches is open for check-ins. If you want to fix anything 10.2 related, just use the trunk as during the last months. In case of serious ("critical") issues of which you want to see an online update, create a bugzilla entry as well. Most of the translation iusses are by definition not "critical", so do not be disappointed if we cannot release on official update. Hi Karl, Why those strings in zypper aren't in zypper.$$.po???? zypper inr --help install-new-recommends (inr) [options] Install newly added packages recommended by already installed packages. This can typically be used to install new language packages or drivers for newly added hardware. Command options: -r, --repo <alias|#|URI> Use only specified repositories to install packages. -D, --dry-run Test the installation, do not actually install anything. It's from the bug 389694 #25 and #30. Should I open a new bug about it? Hi everyone, I just discovered that our knetworkmanager file got 61 fuzzy and 41 untranslated strings. Is this correct? I actually thought we finished knetworkmanager already - at least I didn't notice a file with such a high unfinished rate (102 strings to work on of 123 total strings). Greetings Michael

The changes are mostly plasma-engines of KDE4 and one bug fix in yast2-kerberos-server ("KerberosServer" -> "Kerberos Server"). [opensuse-translation] Wrong translation of audacious (update-desktop-files-apps.*.po) in all languages.

Hello. One irritating mistake come under my eye. The application "audacious" is translated as "audacity" in update-desktop-files-apps.*.po almost in all languages ( I can't read Punjabi or Arabic but I think the bug can be also there). Can you please recheck your language? Czech, Slovak have been fixed, Russian is correct. Audacious and audacity are two different applications. It confuses the users, because this wrong translation is displayed in (KDE,GNOME) Menu. Maybe Karl can mark this string as fuzzy for all languages. This will cause no harm because is better to not translate the names of applications. Hello Karl, in the release notes there's a "translation credits" entry. What do those name refer to? It doesn't seem they are the translator of the distribution to me, so for now I left them untouched. [opensuse-translation] capitalization in translations

Hi all! A have a question about the capitalization used in menus, etc. Is there any restriction for us, translators, to use our own standard? (eg. without capitalize the first letter - "Save As" -> "Save as"(translated of course)). I'm asking because I didn't found any recomendation for translators in the openSUSE Style Guide and because we at Brazil are starting a discution wich involve the translators of the major distros/programs (KDE, GNOME, XFCE, openSUSE, Fedora, LDP, etc) about this theme. Hi, the file gnome-packagekit.fr.po (https://forgesvn1.novell.com/viewsvn/suse-i18n/trunk/lcn/fr/po/gnome-packag…) was not updated whereas the german one was updated (https://forgesvn1.novell.com/viewsvn/suse-i18n/trunk/lcn/de/po/gnome-packag…) Is it a mistake or is there any reason ? Karl, could you fix it, please ? Because I am not sure how to fix it. (something with msgmerge I think but I don't want to break something). [opensuse-translation] Error in Committing file.

Hello, I have problem in committing one file in LCN to sever. I have checked syntax and it says" 1 fatal error" But the file seems no problem with the translations. I attach the error in kbabel and the file called "gnome-packagekit.km.po" any body has problem the same me? Thanks, Sokhem

The following string is in patterns.po: "This is the minimal Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise runtime system. It is really a minimal system, you can login and a shell will be started, that's all. It is intendet as base for Appliances. Support for this minimal pattern is only possible as part of an OEM agreement or after upgrading the system to the Server Base pattern" Is it correct?
