Hi all,
Please help us with translating and publishing social media messages for
the release of Leap. English and Spanish translations are finished. You
can find the sm messages at -
https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Social_media_launch_plan.
If your language is not on the wiki, please feel free to add it. Please
post the messages in your local language and language specific social
media channels you manage or use.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for your help
and all the things you do for openSUSE.

Hi,
So far the translations for www.opensuse.org were held on 2 different
places and each had its own collection of bugs.
To avoid this situation for next week's release I made some effort to
extract the current strings into the template and merge that - and
send back the translations to the git repo.
This means: the translations in git are now generated and will be lost
unless you update subversion (or whatever is the official place for
our translations next week :)
Greetings, Stephan

I’ve noticed that two new translation branches has appeared in SVN:
openSUSE-Leap-42_1-Branch/
plus-SLE12-SP1/
(See https://svn.opensuse.org/svn/opensuse-i18n/branches/ for a list of
branches.)
The Leap one only contains the ‘packages’ translation files (dvd1.pot,
dvd2.pot dvd3.pot &c.), while the plus-SLE12-SP1 one contains all lcn
and yast translation files.
Does anybody know what these are for, and if we should (or even are
allowed) to translate them?

Hi,
During try install openSUSE Leap 42.1 RC1, found, that slides don't
refer to openSUSE 13.2, but slideshow.pot does. Last update of
slideshow.pot was almost one year ago.

I have made a closer look at openSUSE Weblate after the Tomáš Chvátal
explanation.
Simple comparison:
I use Lokalize and subversion's commands update, status and commit in
99.9% of translation work.
I must have subversion installed, base knowledge about subversion background.
There must be local working directory in PC.
Statistics is available only once a day.
Download/upload .po files is simple in Weblate. There is not needed
any additional SW and any working directory to synchronise.
I can still use Lokalize.
Statistics is online.

Colleagues,
While translating yast/*/po/packager.*.po
You see "<b>Error:</b> Product <b>%s</b> will be automatically removed.</font>"
Please remove "</font>" from your translated string of this message, because it is unnecessary!

(/trunk/lcn/50-pot) migrated to openSUSE Weblate?
What does this mean for us?
Thank you.
