[opensuse-translation] New console keymaps needs testing in variety of languages

Hi, As https://features.opensuse.org/318355 is in progress, openSUSE will use console keymaps, that are convert from X keyboard layouts. Console keymaps are highly dependent on settings in /etc/sysconfig/console. Regular openSUSE releases use complicated rules to define different console fonts. In future, it is suggested to use eurlatgr for countries with Latin and Greek alphabets, LatArCyrHeb (e.g. LatArCyrHeb-14) for other, like Arabic, Cyrilic... So please test console keyboards for your country in openSUSE Tumbleweed, after applying https://github.com/yast/yast-country/pull/61 patch. Hi, So with the new weblate in place it's time to start moving files away from svn.o.o. For that purpose I went through the list of pot files and created a task for every pot file (and it's translations) that I think needs migration: https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/11334 Feel free to join the efforts by assigning a task to you. Some of the tasks are easy, some require more effort. [opensuse-translation] Weblate upgrade on l10n.opensuse.org

Hi. We just finished work on Weblate upgrade from 2.3 to 2.5 on http://l10n.opensuse.org/ Most important news: It addresses most of the reported bugs. It introduces per language ACL. It means that we can introduce language reviewers for selected languages, and take editing privilege of random users for languages that have a review team. It introduces views. People can control what they want to see and what they don't want to see. It introduces dashboard. Maintainers can keep messages to translators (project based, language based, etc.) Full list of changes is available here: https://docs.weblate.org/en/latest/changes.html l10n.opensuse.org now runs on a (hopefully) reproducible infrastructure, that is publicly available: https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor/M17N:l10n.opensuse.org (There are still some minor deployment automation issues, see FIXME inside package sources.) [opensuse-translation] Weblate, Leap, tumbleweed and what is pulled from where

Hi folks, Right now I'm a little bit confused which translations are used for which oS version and where they are being pulled from. I must have lost track over one of the lengthy and passionate conversations - which I do not want to encourage with this thread. It is really more about where the work is most useful. >From what I understand we currently have the following situation: - svn.o.o contains trunk which is used for the tumbleweed version and does not go into translation freeze anymore. - svn.o.o also contains SLE branches that are used for the LEAP version. - l10n.o.o contains a reduced set of files(?) that is being hosted on github and is used for ??? [opensuse-translation] Leap/SLE translations pushed to Tumbleweed?

Hi all I've just noticed it today, but hope somebody will give a hint when this has actually happened. I ran zypper and found out that it's translations are not taken from our svn trunk anymore. Since SLE is the only alternative source of translations I know, I assume keichwa or somebody else (un)intentionally changed the source of translations for zypper and maybe other software too (however, YaST still looks fine). So once again we face the problem of severe differences between SLE and community translations, still without a decent solution. I know that it matters only for a subset of "officially supported" languages, but still I'd like to hear any ideas from you.
