Hi!
Somebody knows a .po file editor for windows?
I have some available free time, which I could use to translate, but the
only computer I have on those intervals runs windows. Installing or even
running a linux live is out of the question, forbidden. But I might
install some editor, standalone if possible.
Ideas?

Hi all,
in about 10 days the last round of translations should start (MS 3) but
at the moment there are essentially no new/fuzzy strings to translate.
Since I do not think that there are no string changes, is it possible to
have updated strings in the repository?
Moreover, is it possible to induce developers to update/regenerate the
POT files? so we are sure that translations are still good.
Best,
Andrea

By now, 12.1 translations are mostly done. Thanks to all of you for
this!
As usual, we can now think about wanted online translation updates. The
first, I'd like to schedule for the technical release notes
(RELEASE-NOTES-openSUSE). I just updated the pot file and would like to
publish this end of next week (2011-11-25)..

As discussed some time ago, Berlios will switch off the SVN service by
the end of the year and thus we must move.
I proposed to our SVN experts to start the move on 2011-11-29. This
means, Berlios will be switched to a read-only state and we will start
copying the files with all the history and revisions to opensuse.org.
This will probably take some days.
Do you have any concerns about the timing and the procedure? For
openSUSE, we still have the possibility to finish the currect release
notes and do other online updates, if needed. For SLE 11 SP2, we can
prepare the RC2 release as planned.
ATM, I do not know how we can preserve the accounts or the account
names. Stay tuned...

Hi all,
I'm looking for help with translating an article about OBS, written by Helen
South. SUSE marketing really liked the article and they told me they can
help me get it in magazines in a large number of countries if we can get it
translated. The languages I will need are:
simple chinese
japanses
spanish
french
german
dutch
Below is a link to the document, mail it to me once you're done. If we get
this done during next week I can get this to the press agencies in time.
Thanks in advance!

Hi All!
I would like to correct links in the "Getting help" box of
software.opensuse.org because they are pointing to the English wiki
even if there are translated pages in the Italian one. Where can i
find the correct page on github?
Thanks in advance,
Bye

Linenumbers are taken from snapper.de.po:
336:"<p><b><big>Snapshots Configuration</big></b><p>\n"
353:"<p><b><big>Snapshot Overview</big></b><p>\n"
370:"<p><b><big>Snapshot Overview</big></b><p>\n"
The second <p> should probably be a </p>, at least that's why the syntax would
imply.
Btw. where should one report such typos? I've tried the bugzilla recently, but
the feedback was not that great (I wask asked for y2logs repeatedly, even
though I stated the line in the sourcecode(not the .po file) where the typo was
and what the typo was :| ).
Regards,
Michael
Dear openSUSE maintainers,
I would like to take part in translating openSUSE to Estonian. The page
http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Localization_team
says that the Estonian localization team's coordinator is Ain Vagula,
but sadly he has passed away in 2010 and to my knowledge there are
currently no active Estonian openSUSE translators, so I would like to
become the coordinator of the Estonian localization team.
My full name: Jaan Vajakas
My BerliOS login: jaanvajakas
My e-mail address: jaanvajakas at hot.ee
Best regards,
Jaan
