Hi All! I would like to correct links in the "Getting help" box of software.opensuse.org because they are pointing to the English wiki even if there are translated pages in the Italian one. Where can i find the correct page on github?
Thanks in advance,
Bye hawake

The translations of software.opensuse.org are managed in the lcn repository you find in [1]. I have just checked the Italian PO file and all links in it are OK (the only one that still points to the English page is the one relative to the License since there is no Italian counterpart -- or at least I have not found it).
Coolo, is the POT file up-to-date? The current file has been generated: "POT-Creation-Date: 2011-11-23 10:20+0100\n"
Bye, Andrea

Ok, thank you for the fast-answer! :)

I updated the file on software.o.o.

At least for the Italian translation, there are still sentences that do not use the translated string. In particular, each one referring to the Download_help page.
Best, Andrea

Good, but some fine tuning is still needed. For instance, I found at least two links that are hard-coded, so it's impossible to "translate" them to localized versions. Those links are: 1) http://www.suse.de/relnotes/i386/openSUSE/12.1/RELEASE-NOTES.en.html 2) http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Download_help#Burn_the_ISO_image.28s.29 Second link appears two times on a page: in the last paragraph and in the "Getting help" box.

Oh, BTW, I remember times translations were updated automatically (IIRC, every day). Is there a way to establish this once again? Or, maybe, you know some other way around for us to push translations in? (so that translators would not need to bug you or report to bugzilla asking for manual update every time they change some text or link)
Because of that exists the github "account" of openSUSE, with all projects (wiki included) of the Community. The .po files translation depends instead on the svn repo specifically created for.

Hi, it's me again... :P in software.opensuse.org the "Getting help" box's strings are now updated but there is still one URL not pointing to the translated page: "Masterizza immagine(i) di CD/DVD" points to EN instead of [0].
Thanks again for help.

As Alexander pointed out, this link seems to be hard-coded in the page, so it is not available for translations.

Just report it: https://github.com/openSUSE/software-o-o/issues - Thomas works pretty actively at it at the moment

Hi, I don't think the translations were ever updated automatically, because the workflow contains merging in the new po file, pushing to git and deploying the server. I try to update the translations regulary.
Greetings

Hi, I added the Download_help link and some more strings from the upcoming app browser (http://software.opensuse.org/packages) to the translations.
