[opensuse-translation] New strings in software.o.o

With the upcoming 13.2, the release team has decided to introduce a small change in software.opensuse.org labeling DVD and network installation as the only tested medias. The result will look like this (with the other options hidden at a first sight): http://paste.opensuse.org/82084573 I have just updated the software-opensuse-org po files in the svn with the new strings. It would be fine if we can have as many translations as possible at release date (Nov 4th). Thanks in advance. [opensuse-translation] Some got the "alternat translation" window in Lokalize to work?

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I have this setup in Lokalize project configuration: Root folder: .../SuSE/trunk/yast/es/po/ Templates: .../SuSE/trunk/yast/50-pot Branch: .../SuSE/branches/openSUSE-13_1-Branch/yast/es/po Alternates: .../SuSE/branches/SLE12/yast/es/po Branch is supposedly used for "Sync Mode". You translate something in "Root folder", and have that same translation appear in the "Branch" folder. That is, translate "trunk", and have the "13.1" file also simultaneously translated. Perfect. If you open a file in Root, you should get the file of the same name in Branch also opened. And it does... but it appears in the "secondary sync" box, not in the "primary sync" window. I can click on the "Secondary Sync" window and I get a prompt to open a file there. The "Alternate" directory can be used for files of other languages, to be used as examples, or in this case, for the SLE translation. However, nothing appears in the "Alternate Translations" box. Right click does nothing on that window. Somebody got this feature to work? How? [...] I just got it working... sort of. I opened Dolphin, navigated to .../SuSE/branches/SLE12/yast/es/po, picked a file and dropped it in the window - it opened and follows the correct mssgid of the other windows! It is not the nice way to do it, but it is usable... I can this way review the three versions, and write both to trunk and 13.1 versions. - -- Cheers Carlos E. R. [opensuse-translation] Add Esperanto to OpenSuse

Hi! My name is Manuel Ortega. I has been working from several years on the translation of Ubuntu distribution to Esperanto. New from a few month I has started to use OpenSuse as default distribution for my professional and personal use. I saw that does not exit Localization team for Esperanto in the OpenSuse community. I really would love to help making the translation of OpenSuse to Esperanto. And I know that in the feature other Esperanto speakers would contribute. Here i put the informotation you asked for: New language name: Esperanto the ISO 639-1 is eo My full name: Manuel Ortega My svn.opensuse.org account name: I don't have it already. In the wiki I read that I have to contact the translation coordinators. But which one? Do I choose one from any translation team? My OpenSuse user is Kameleono. Hi, in slideshow.*.po there is fraze: „or use infrared ports to synchronize your data.“ But reality is this: openSUSE don't continue IrDA support since 13.1, since YaST migration to Ruby. I think this message to openSUSE users is misleading.
