I wasn't at [opensuse-translation] and missed the start of discussion. So,
what's the correct Vietnamese ASCII approximation?
And what's correct UTF-8 string for Vietnamese? Is it
"tiếng Việt" ?
I don't know about keymap file for console, maybe there is not any and we
could just create a link to us.map.gz, like with khmer.map.gz. However,
adding Marcus for SaX involvement.
I cannot find anything under /usr/share/zoneinfo, what should be a time zone
for Vietnam.

is there any kind of special Vi setup for Po file (apart
syntax hilight)
I mean: something that could protect the english original
and let only the translation part available for editing?
I always fear to type a letter on the wrong line and so
begin a bug (or will this be refused by the system?)
thanks

Hello,
I'm a bit puzzled about the about the new translation procedure (if there is a
new procedure).
In the past there used to messages on the mailing list when new files for
translation were uploaded with a pointer where the files could be be found.
From some recent messages I get a feeling that this system has / will be
changed.
Is a more "automated" process set up now, and should I take some sort of
action to include my language (nb) in that process?
I might add that I'm not exactly member of a SUSE translation team or anything
like that - I don't think such a thing exists for nb.
Anyhow, I get a feeling that I have missed something about future translations
of openSUSE - so maybe someone could enlighten me.
Cheers

Hi,
I'm maintaining the vi.opensuse.org wiki. And I'm using SuSE everyday.
I like its nice interface, especially the KDE's one :). I saw that
many languages are supported in SuSE, include Russian, my second
language. What have to do if I want to see my mother tongue in that
supported langugages list?
