In https://svn.opensuse.org/svn/opensuse-i18n/branches/SLE12/lcn,
SUSE/Novell updated snapper, zypp, and zypper translations for all SUSE
Linux Enterprise 12 languages:
ar
cs
de
es
fr
hu

These updates were based on previously existing community transaltions
(Factory / 13.1). If you do not veto, I'd like to copy and merge the
SLE 12 updates back to the trunk. If you veto, I'd like to ask you to
do this merge yourself.

Finally, we once again have a SVN commit mailinglist for our software
translations (yast, zypper, snapper, desptop files, etc.). It would be
good if some of you would subscribe to it and watch the commits. To
subscribe to it, send an (empty) mail to
opensuse-translation-commit+subscribe(a)opensuse.org
Be warned, from time to time traffic will be high and messages could be
large. This means only subscribe to it if you can handle it. The
archive is here (just 1 test commit right now):

Hi,
I merged the desktop files (after a very long time without any update on
them due to a script bug). The change is so big that I can't really
see if it's all fine for most of you - I hope so, but if you can, double
check.
Greetings, Stephan

Dear translators!
There was a my mistake. I forgot to subscribe opensuse-translation.
And thus I didn't obtain answers to my previous requests (only email
from Ivan Petrouchtchak)
But today I suscribed and read replies in Mailinglist Archive:
opensuse-translation. Sorry, I cannot see a full Daniel email (only
jdsn@xxxxxxx).
Please, Michael Skiba help me and send Daniel email for me. I shall
follow instructions and contact Daniel.
Sincerely,
Andriy Bandura.

Hi, translators!
Please, create an account for me on svn.opensuse.org and give me
rights of Ukrainian coordinator because an actual Ukrainian
coordinator Ivan Petrouchtchak has not had time to work on updating
translations for a while.
Language: Ukrainian
My full name: Andriy Bandura
My contact mail address: andriykopanytsia(a)gmail.com
My svn.opensuse.org account name: andriykopanytsia
Best regards,
Andriy.

Taking the upcoming release of 13.2 Beta1 next Monday as an opportunity,
the release team decided to make a small adjustment in the front page of
software.opensuse.org, setting 64-bit as default and labeling 32-bit as
"legacy".
I have just updated the corresponding .po files in the translations svn.
It would be nice if we have as many translations as possible when
deploying the changes. The change simply adds 1 word, literally, as seen
at http://paste.opensuse.org/78544089
Thanks

We also need further clarification for translation.
Normally, we work on http://svn.opensuse.org/svn/opensuse-i18n/trunk/,
because till 13.1 the
http://svn.opensuse.org/svn/opensuse-i18n/openSUSE-13_1-Branch was
created some time _after_ GM release, and trunk was under string
freeze (the pots did not change, except if really needed).
But I understand that you say that 13.2 is going to be separated from
factory between beta and RC1. Thus the openSUSE-13_2-Branch
(translation tree) has to be created before we translators can start
work on it...

That's a task for a translation coordinator to define.
Greetings, Stephan

Dear maintainers of opensuse-translation!
I want to join an Ukrainian localization team. This team exists in the
OpenSUSE Localization team list, but there is no mailinglist for this
team. Ivan Petrouchtchak is an Ukrainian coordinator. I don't know how
to contact with this person. I found 2 emails
ivanpetrouchtchak(a)yahoo.com, fr.ivan(a)ukrainian-orthodox.org in
Ukrainian
OpenSUSE po-files and wrote him. But I didn't receive a reply.
Maybe, is this coordinator inactive?
Please, help me to join Ukrainian team or become a coordinator (if
Ivan Petrouchtchak is inactive).
Now I am Ukrainian translator VLC, LibreOffice, gnu.org and other projects on
crowdin.net and transifex.com.
Sincerely
Andriy
