Hi,
I'm new in this list, I just subscribed here because I didn't like openSUSE's Bugzilla.
I was wanting to send a bug report about an issue with Chromium's packaging, but the process to create an account requires a lot of unnecessary data.
Job title, company, street adress, city, country, telephone???? Sorry, but I'm not a company, I'm just using openSUSE in my home PC. Why do you/ they want these informations?
Thanks for the attention,
Ignacio

Hello,
I have an initial pre-alpha build of the 8 tools: aa-genprof,
aa-logprof, aa-audit, aa-autodep, aa-complain, aa-deny, aa-enforce,
aa-unconfined ready.
Hopefully the latter 6 should be bugfree, with the first two needing
some debugging.
Here's the report from Week 9:

Hello folks,
So, here is my GSoC 2013 update for the week ending on 9/08/2013
1. What have I done last week?
Finished with refactoring the code. The discussion system is now live
on http://build.opensuse.org (Yayy!). Apart from that, a
functionality for edit/delete comments has been pushed to github.
2. What am I'm doing this week
I just moved in to my college. So will be a little caught with the
usual move-in and orientation things. But no big deal. I have received
feedback from my mentor on the edit/delete functionality I have put up
on github and will make sure the same gets corrected/implemented soon.
Apart from that, we will target to finish off the entire edit/delete
functionality set this week, along with test suites, make sure all the
data transfer happens via JSON and not XML. So next week we can move
on to hermes and start building notification types for the discussion
system in OBS.

a person violate his own country(for example Pakistan) law then the
agreemen will be terminate or not? 2.captcha earning work is illegal
according to u.s(united satates) but if a person do this work in his
living country where this work is not illegal then the laws of u.s

Hello all!
I'm pleased to announce that the new Local Coordinator programme is
coming together nicely.
After the Call for Volunteers, we had a total of 19 people step up and
offer to be part of this new scheme to better coordinate our community
work internationally.
>From those volunteers, 12 were accepted as Local Coordinators. Thanks
to everyone who volunteered, but in order to be effective, we're
requiring that our Coordinators are openSUSE members so we can be sure
they know their way around the project, know who to talk to for help,
etc.
A few of the 7 who we couldn't make Local Coordinators have since
applied for openSUSE membership and I'm hopeful they'll be accepted
and join the Local Coordinator Team in due course.
A list of the current Local Coordinators, as well as a detailed
description of the programme, it's goals and how to join can be found
on the Wiki[1]
You can also see a video of my presentation at oSC 13 on the topic[2]
So, what next?
First, we're still looking for more Local Coordinators. While I'm
thrilled that our community in Europe and the Americas are well
represented, I'm concerned that we currently don't have any
Coordinators from Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, or Germany, which is
surprising given how many community members we have in those areas.
If you're interested in helping organise our project in your region,
please read the Wiki article[1] and get in touch.
Second, we're going to be having our first Local Coordinators IRC
meeting next week at 15:00 UTC on Tuesday 13th August in the
#opensuse-marketing channel on irc.opensuse.org
Find out what time the meeting will be in your time-zone
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?day=24&month=7&year=20…
Everyone is welcome, the Agenda for this first meeting is primarily
for our Local Coordinators to meet each other, and discuss how we're
going to start the ball rolling properly. If you're interested in
becoming a Local Coordinator, or curious about the programme, it would
be a perfect opportunity to learn more.
Thanks, and remember, Have a lot of fun!
