Hi,
first of all, if this list is not the right one for this kind of request,
please point me to the right direction where it would be.
I'd like to request adding a 'latest' or even '15' (any major release version)
named symlink to the HTTP OS tree [1] as both to be consistent in how Leap
containers are tagged [2] as well as helping other projects/consumers e.g.
libosinfo [3] or our libvirt-ci [4] tool etc. to always conveniently track the
latest minor release of Leap. The use case of most of these upstream
communities is to always consume the latest contents to find regressions and
compatibility issues early, and it poses some (not completely negligible)
burden for all these communities to manually flip all URLs to flip the Leap
release they track to the latest minor when it's released. So, I'm kindly
asking whether such a thing could be considered.
Regards,
Erik

Hi everyone,
I have placed the release announcement for openSUSE Leap 15.5 on the
wiki at https://en.opensuse.org/Release_announcement_15.5
It would be highly appreciated if you could help to translate the
release announcement to your native language to help for this news to be
released in different languages. Currently it is only in English. Feel
free to link your translated version to the top and include your ISO
639-1 Code language code. We recently discussed the use of translations
tool. Please make sure you give the translations a thorough read through
in the translated language should you use decide to use some of these
tools we discussed[1] If you have any questions, please let me know.
Also, if you want to design some sort of image to go along with the
release of Leap 15.5, please write me or chat on the marketing telegram
at https://t.me/openSUSE_Marketing.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Hello openSUSE!
Leap Micro 5.4 is now globally available which also means that Leap
Micro 5.2 reached officially End Of Life.
Leap 15.5 officially entered RC with Build472.1.
I'm really happy that we were able to get IPRQ approval as well as
acceptable testing results for the RC build and still meet our
https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Roadmap for both projects.
More information in our practical hands-on Leap Micro 5.4 article

Hello all,
Here are the minutes for the March 27 board meeting.
They are also available here:

* Present: Doug, Gerald, Mau, Neal, Patrick,
* Excused:
* Missed: Gertjan
* Guests:
== Sponsorships via Geeko Foundation ==
* From last meeting:
** Received a sponsorship offer that actually requires a non-profit.
** Patrick not available today, so taken to e-mail.
** Feedback: Geeko Foundation (website) doesn't talk to relationship
with openSUSE?
The openSUSE Conference now lists Geekos Foundation as a sponsor,
Patrick can add it to the Geekos Foundation website and he will work
with Doug on this.
== openSUSE Board Meeting / Presentation ==
Various board members have conflicts for an in-person meeting before
oSC, we might have a F2F right after oSC instead. We're planning a
virtual meeting soon to plan our board presentation.
== Requesting permission to use logo for Dutch educational material ==

Approved and ddemaio replied with branding/logo info
Doug will look into making our permissionless trademark rules more visible

Hi,
I'd like to transfer the following repo to openSUSE:
https://github.com/lcp/fde-tools
fde-tools has been in SUSE:ALP for a while to enable full disk
encryption. Michael Chang and I took over the package from Olaf Kirch
and we would like to move the repo under openSUSE and submit the package
to Base:System and then openSUSE:Factory later.
Please help me to transfer the repo.
Thanks,
Gary Lin
