So, I'm playing bit with <https://github.com/V-Z/translate-po-openai-api> and it seems it's working well. I can download PO file, let ChatGPT translate it, and upload to Weblate as proposal. So main manual part is checking and correcting the translation (either in Lokalize or so or in Weblate). The only problem is that the API access is paid. I got some credit when starting ChatGPT Plus (it expires soon anyway, so I don't care). I'm not sure how exactly it's counting the tokens, but almost 2700 strings costed little below 3$. Not bad. Hi, there is an issue in Leap 15.5 Release notes repository for weblate [0]. There is a merge conflict in po/ca.po. This makes the repository locked and no translations can be done. Hi everyone, I have placed the release announcement for openSUSE Leap 15.5 on the wiki at https://en.opensuse.org/Release_announcement_15.5 It would be highly appreciated if you could help to translate the release announcement to your native language to help for this news to be released in different languages. Currently it is only in English. Feel free to link your translated version to the top and include your ISO 639-1 Code language code. We recently discussed the use of translations tool. The items we went through were a bit difficult for documentation, but for translations, it looked like ChatGPT could be used, but it would need a review (and necessary adjustments) from a native speaker. It would certainly be great to have more languages translated and using the AI as a tool to help. ChatGPT for translations

Hi, everyone is now playing with ChatGPT, right? ;-) Among other tasks, I try to use it for translations. It gives good quality and consistent code, so it could save a lot of work, but still I wouldn't let it publish without review. Now I can download PO file and copy-paste its parts into chat window and then upload finished PO back to Weblate. Well, this copy-paste is time demanding and annoying. So 2 questions: 1) Is anyone thinking about some employment of ChatGPT into translations? Does anyone already have some experience with that? 2) Does anyone have any working procedure with some API access, so without need of copy-paste from-to web browser? Leap 15.4 is Gold! No further translations will get in

Hello openSUSE! openSUSE Leap 15.4 has an official GM Candidate. At this point we will not take any further translations. Build 243.2 finished two days ago, which means according to the roadmap. *Just like SLES, we don't do GMC 2!* So this build is also our Gold Master. I fully expect to release Build243.2 next week on Wednesday as Leap 15.4 GA. It would be technically possible to release it this week, but many of us will travel to the openSUSE conference and technical support could not be guaranteed. It's just not worth the risk. I'm aware of some boot-stack bugs/RFEs on Arm. Namely USB boot on RPI, and eMMC boot. These will be delivered in QU1. Big thanks to Max and Wolfgang, Guillaume, and the rest of the openSUSE Release team as well to all contributors for making this happen!
