Greetings.
I am planning to participate in GSOC 2015. I went through some of the ideas that have been there in previous years. Who should I contact if I am to propose my own idea? I would like to discuss the feasibility of the project.
Thanks in advance.

„Call for Lectures“ verlinkt.

Hi All, here are some belated Board meeting minutes from our 22 Sept Meeting
GSoC Rewards
The Board was asked about the possibility of rewarding GSoC Mentors
for their great hard work during each years GSoC
The Board has decided that money or material rewards are not a route
we want to pursue, as it can be perceived as 'payment for
contributions' which is something we fundamentally disagree with as a
volunteer community. It would also be a great deal of logistical work
However, we are very fond of the idea of Thank you letters, increased
news attention, and generally making sure our GSoC mentors feel their
contributions are rightly recognised and thanked - (so to get it
started - THANK YOU all for the great work making this years GSoC a
success)
Booth Box
The Board is beginning discussions and planning to purchase new
merchandise as our 'Booth Box' stock is starting to run low. We're
awaiting detailed costs from last years purchases to help us plan this
years. We're also keen to investigate distributed purchase and storage
instead of centralising it at SUSE's Nuremberg office.
openSUSE Asia Summit
All looking good, no action items, the Board is very excited to see
how the event succeeds!
oSC 15
Kick off event was discussed (Since happened, oSC 15 planning is in
full swing,please get involved)
SUSEcon
openSUSE will have a booth at this years SUSEcon
13.2/Marketing
openSUSE 13.2 needs more help marketing, Kostas is getting involved
and spearheading the Boards efforts to get more people to help make
13.2 both a marketing as well as a technical success
Regards
- Richard

Dear all!
During the last project meeting it became evident that (at least) one
crucial piece of branding was missing, a theme!
So, i've tried to think up a couple based on some key words that i think
suit both openSUSE and The Netherlands:
Flexibility through diversity
Agility through collaboration
Conference at sealevel
And two more, based on the "We adapt, you succeed" slogan:
The result-driven distribution
We create, you benefit
I'd love to hear your input so that we can select a suitable theme on
our next project meeting (21st of Oct, announcement will come shortly)!
All the best!
Hans

Hi,
To avoid having to copy the bugzilla components every time we do a new
release, Richard and me decided to do it once and for all and created
a bugzilla product named "openSUSE Distribution".
I moved all 13.2-Beta1 bugs to that (we tracked them in 'openSUSE
Factory'). I would love to move all existant openSUSE distribution bugs
in there, but that would trigger quite some bugzilla SPAM so I better
don't :)
Greetings, Stephan
