[opensuse-translation] Localisation of the main menu

Hello everyone, In submitted this bug but it doesn't seem to interest anyone: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=361249 The problem is that the localisation of the main menu in opensuse-kde is not working properly. What is more, Yast2, when launching from KDE4 is also half localised (icons) en half in english (menus and yast components when opened...). The yast2 issue didn't occur in KDE3. Does anyone experienced the same issue? Does anyone think it would be more a problem of KDE4 than opensuse? [opensuse-translation] yast2 split off from update-desktop-files

Hello. Will there be yast2 entries split off from the huge update-desktop-files po file? This will help to have Yast2 translated and don't miss few of Yast entries because update-desktop-files is so huge and thus mainly untranslated. Thanks. Hallo, Many thanks for your answers. My problem is I can figure what to do with packages.fr.gz file I've downloaded.. I've tried to replace the file in /var/cache/zypp/raw ... but without success. I also try to replace packages.gz with package.fr.gz because my YaST Software Installation panel is English (only the progress bar at start-up is in french so there is may-be a configuration problem ??) [opensuse-translation] How to "test" translations of the package "branch"

Hi all, I've done a few translations in French mainly for YaST components. I now work on the package branch. It's really a huge work and I don't know how to check if my translations are fine. I've installed OpenSuse 11 Alpha 2 in French with Virtual Box. RPMs descriptions are still in english (even those who have been commited in svn by team coordinator). It would be helpful because it's sometimes difficult to understand to which package a message belongs to. So I don't have the context to do a better translation. Here is a short brief: Different kinds of users: Team Coordinator - can activate users and assign tasks. Unrestricted User - can assign a task to him/her. Restricted User - a simple user with no assign grants (he/she depends on the coordinator). Some features are: - - Projects Management (the projects (ie opensuse 11.0) has subprojects (yast/lcn). The file list are generated automatically from svn. - - Teams Management - - User management - - Change log - - Translation Stats from svn (untranslated messages, fuzzy) - - email notifications. The system can manage multiple projects/teams. Right now it's available just in two languages, English (default) and Spanish, but it's easy to add a new lang. The options available on the file list are: filtering, modify status (clicking on the filename link), change log (clicking on the icon next to the filename), download file (from svn) This is just a preview, it's hosted on a free hosting service right now, so it's quite slow.
