[opensuse-translation] WebTool to help translation management

Here is a short brief: Different kinds of users: Team Coordinator - can activate users and assign tasks. Unrestricted User - can assign a task to him/her. Restricted User - a simple user with no assign grants (he/she depends on the coordinator). Some features are: - - Projects Management (the projects (ie opensuse 11.0) has subprojects (yast/lcn). The file list are generated automatically from svn. - - Teams Management - - User management - - Change log - - Translation Stats from svn (untranslated messages, fuzzy) - - email notifications. The system can manage multiple projects/teams. Right now it's available just in two languages, English (default) and Spanish, but it's easy to add a new lang. The options available on the file list are: filtering, modify status (clicking on the filename link), change log (clicking on the icon next to the filename), download file (from svn) This is just a preview, it's hosted on a free hosting service right now, so it's quite slow. But I hope to have it hosted on a good hosting before the first translation round. If you want to give it a try, the user/password is demo1/demo1 (please, do not modify the preferences of this user). Wishlist: * translation bugs reporting - option to allow/deny non-registered users to report * svn commit logs * svn diff logs

Actually, clicking on the 'get file' icon redirects you to forgesvn1.novell.com/viewsvn where you can view the last logs and compare with older revisions.
If you want I can host it for you, depending on which tools it needs though.
That would be great. Minimal requirements are: * PHP 5.1.0 or greater. * MySQL (preferredly with outside access) * working smtp server configured on PHP. * FTP access * Allow to PHP access to the outside (so it can connect the the svn) * Space requirements for the code are low, less than 2mb. Desirable * subversion and msgfmt available. * Temp space to download svn and update statistics. * cron. * SSH access to manage cron.

This sounds very similar to vertimus, the tool that the GNOME french translation team has been using in the last two years. http://gnomefr.traduc.org/suivi/ https://launchpad.net/vertimus I should probably install some test version of vertimus for openSUSE, to show how it works. And I really need to sit down and to write a detailed presentation about it.
