Hallo, Ich habe ein kleines Problem. Vor einiger Zeit hatte ich meine SuSE-clients so konfiguriert, das ich über "kprinter" direkt auf hylafax "drucken" konnte. Nun habe ich hier bei mir komplett auf SuSE9.1 umgestellt, und finde meine Bookmarks mit der Anleitung zum Konfigurieren der Clients nicht mehr. :-( Ich hab auch schon gegoogelt, aber irgendwie nicht das gefunden, was ich brauche. Das ganze war ein nettes Howto (step by step geschrieben). Hat jemand eine Idee wo ich das finden könnte, oder gar den Link parat ? herzlichen Dank schon mal im voraus. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Andre

AVM B1 PCI

Hallo, Wer kann mir helfen? Habe aus dem SUSE SLOX mit Hylafax und einer AVM B1 PCI einen wunderschönen Fax-Server gebaut, der per Mail die Faxe und Benachrichtigungen an die User versendet. Soweit so gut. Leider hängt sich Hylafax oder c2faxsend (???) ab und zu beim Faxen auf, so dass ich dann rchylafax stop; killall -9 c2faxsend; rcisdn restart; rchylafax start ausführen muß, um das ganze zum laufen zu kriegen. Das Fax-Aufkommen ist mit 80-100 Faxen am Tag nicht allzu hoch. Ich überlege, eine separate Box nur zum Faxen aufzustellen, um dieses lästige Problem loszuwerden. Hat da jemand die gleiche Erfahrung gemacht ? Mit freundlichen Grüßen Bernhard Pallas

Faxen mit CAPI unter Suse 9.1

Hallo, das Problem ist glaube ich nicht neu, aber gibt es schon eine Lösung? Ich habe eine Fritzcard Classic unter 9.1. Einwahl auf einen Server mit ippp0 und isdnctrl funktioniert (hat nix mit capi zu tun, ich weiss, nur als Hinweis dass die Karte geht), ebenso der Anrufbeantworter aus der capisuite. Beim Faxen hab ich das Problem, dass - egal ob ausgehende oder einkommende Faxe - die Verbindung angenommen wird, aber gleich wieder beendet wird bevor Daten übertragen werden. Auch wenn ich nicht das capisuitefax verwende sondern mit hylafax und capi4hylafax arbeite habe ich das gleiche Problem. Hat jemand eine Lösung für mich? DSL und ISDN-Problem

Hallo Newsgroup, vor kurzem hatte ich schon mal gepostet wegen Problemen, in unserer Schule an einer komischen Standleitung eine Umstellung auf einen Suse-Server zu vollziehen. Das Problem hat sich inzwischen erledigt. Suse hat brav die ISDN-Leitung geöffnet und sowohl Webserver als auch www-Proxy gespielt. Nun soll folgendes realisiert werden: der WWW-Server soll weiterhin auf die mit der ISDN-Leitung verbundene feste IP hören. Als Proxy soll SuSE nun die Webanfragen über die DSL Leitung bedienen. Letzteres Funktioniert nun auch schon. Aber erst nachdem ich mehrere Male mit der Standard-Routen-Einstellung gespielt habe. Über die ISDN-Leitung kriege ich keinen Kontakt zum Server. Wie erreiche ich, dass neben der per dyndns-Client stets offenen DSL Leitung der Rechner auch weiterhin auf der festen IP erreichbar ist. Ich weiß im Augenblick nicht recht, was ihr noch an weiterer Info braucht? Gruß Rolf -- Rolf Aglaster <rolf(a)aglaster.net>

Was Du brauchst, ist ein pppd mit ppp-Filtering Option (Ob der bei der 8.0 schon dabei war, weiss ich nicht. fritzcard classic: ISDN Protokollfehler Ebene 2

Hallo, ich habe schon viele verucht, und auch wertvolle Hinweise in dieser Liste erhalten, aber ich erhalte immer wieder die gleiche Fehlermeldung: Protokollfehler Ebene 2 Hardwarebeschreibung: Fritzcard classic mem:0x300, irq=10, (kein Geräte-Konflikt) vorsichtshalber habe ich alle anderen Karten entfernt. Nur noch VGA-Adapter und Fritzcard classic. Der Vollständigkeit hablber: Telefonanlage AGFEO AS192; Telekom-Ansschluss point to Multipoint (kein Point to Point!) Software: SuSE9.1, kernel 2.6.5, Online-update durchgeführt Zusätzliche Hinweise: Wenn ich in diesem Rechner die Fritzcard PCI verwende funktioniert alles! Mit dem selben ISDN-Kabel und an der selben ISDN-Steckdose. Wenn ich die Fritzcard classic in einem anderen Rechner mit Win2000 verwende funktioniert sie fehlerfrei. Ich möchte aber diese Fritzcard classic in diesem Rechner (Pentium II, 350Mhz, 128MB) verwenden; es soll ein Internet-server und FAX-server werden. HOFFENTLICH. Ich habe einen Ausschnitt aus /var/log/messages beigefügt: hier die Variante mit Fritzcard classic; Der Verbindungsaufbau funktioniert fehlerfrei, es wird erst nach dem eingestellten Timeout von 600sec. getrennt. ABER wenn ich einen Internetbrowser (Opera, Konquerer) starte oder e-mails herunterlade wird die Verbindung nach kurzer Zeit wegen Protokollfehler Ebene 2 getrennt. Es wird immer mit Protocol error layer 2 abgebrochen noch bevor eine Verbindung aufgebaut werden konnte. Der ISDN-Teil von SuSE 9.1 bringt mich schon langsam zum Verzweifeln. Irgendwie scheinen manche Dinge zufällig zu sein. Ich verwende: 0000:00:0c.0 Network controller: AVM Audiovisuelles MKTG & Computer System GmbH A1 ISDN [Fritz] (rev 02) Mit dem AVM-Treiber (Default!) funktionierte unter dem bei 9.1 mitgelieferten Kernel das Timeout nicht, ebenso nicht nach dem 1. Kernel-Update. Zufällig merkte ich dann, dass das Timeout mit dem Hisax-Treiber funktioniert, also habe ich auf Hisax umgestellt. Nach dem 2. Kerne-Update funktionierte ISDN nicht mehr und ich sah keine andere Lösung als das Gateway neu aufzusetzen. Der Fehler im ip-up-Script ist mir bekannt, aber trotzdem war es letztlich ein zufälliges Ergebnis, dass ich wieder einen Internetverbindung schaffte. Vielleicht meinte das Schicksal, ich sollte 9.1 installieren üben :-) IMO kann man bei der Konfiguration ja nicht so viel falsch machen und ich verwende ISDN schon seit 6.1. Nun wurde direkt auf 2.6.4-54.5-default upgedatet und ich weiß nicht, woran es liegt, dass das Timeout nun mit dem Hisax-Treiber nicht funktioniert. Bitte sagt mir welche Infos ihr braucht, die poste ich dann gerne. FÜr mich ist ein funktionierendes Timeout sehr wichtig. Al

Hallo Liste, ich hab eine FritzCard PCI 2.0 (bisher) an einem normalem Mehrgeräteanschluss. CapiSuite funktioniert damit unter SuSE8.2 einwandfrei. Funktioniert das Faxen an mich selbst bzw. Anrufen auch an einer Telefonanlage mit internem S0-Bus ohne Amtsleitung (nur für eine Präsentation)? Oder braucht die Karte unbedingt ein Amt? Hallo, ich habe schon viele verucht, und auch wertvolle Hinweise in dieser Liste erhalten, aber ich erhalte immer wieder die gleiche Fehlermeldung: Protokollfehler Ebene 2 Hardwarebeschreibung: Fritzcard classic mem:0x300, irq=10, (kein Geräte-Konflikt) vorsichtshalber habe ich alle anderen Karten entfernt. Nur noch VGA-Adapter und Fritzcard classic. Der Vollständigkeit hablber: Telefonanlage AGFEO AS192; Telekom-Ansschluss point to Multipoint (kein Point to Point!) Software: SuSE9.1, kernel 2.6.5, Online-update durchgeführt Zusätzliche Hinweise: Wenn ich in diesem Rechner die Fritzcard PCI verwende funktioniert alles! Mit dem selben ISDN-Kabel und an der selben ISDN-Steckdose. Wenn ich die Fritzcard classic in einem anderen Rechner mit Win2000 verwende funktioniert sie fehlerfrei. Ich möchte aber diese Fritzcard classic in diesem Rechner (Pentium II, 350Mhz, 128MB) verwenden; es soll ein Internet-server und FAX-server werden. HOFFENTLICH. Ich habe einen Ausschnitt aus /var/log/messages beigefügt: hier die Variante mit Fritzcard classic; Der Verbindungsaufbau funktioniert fehlerfrei, es wird erst nach dem eingestellten Timeout von 600sec. getrennt. ABER wenn ich einen Internetbrowser (Opera, Konquerer) starte oder e-mails herunterlade wird die Verbindung nach kurzer Zeit wegen Protokollfehler Ebene 2 getrennt. Wenn die Verbindung abgebrochen wurde, kommt bei einem neuerlichen Versuch mich einzuwählen nie mehr eine Verbindung zustande. Es wird immer mit Protocol error layer 2 abgebrochen noch bevor eine Verbindung aufgebaut werden konnte. Erst nach 'capiint stop' gefolgt von 'capiinit reload' kann eine neue Verbindung aufgebaut werden - ja bis dann durch eine Internetanwendung die Vebindung wieder getrennt wird. Woran liegt es, dass ich das mit der Fritzcard classic nicht schafffe? Wer weiss mir hier einen RAT? Für jede Hilfe bin ich dankbar. capisuite 0.4.3 mit Fritz! PCI funktioniert plötzlich nicht mehr

Hallo, ich nutze seit Anfang des Jahres Capisuite 0.4.3 mit einer Fritz! PCI, fcpci-03.10.02. Bisher funktionierte auch alles wunderbar. Doch leider musste ich dann die CPU des Rechners wechseln und seit dem funktioniert mein Capisuite nicht mehr. Allerdings verstehe ich das nicht und kam da nicht weiter. Nach einem weiteren Neustart funktioniert Capisuite dann gar nicht mehr. in capisuite.error kommen keine Eintragungen außer denen, dass Capisuite gestartet wurde und in der capisuite.log sind keine Eintragungen außer, dass das idle-skript gestartet wird und endet. (Debug-Level auf 3 gesetzt). lspci -v zeigte mir an, dass die fcpci den IRQ 9 mit der Grafikkarte teilte, was ich dadurch änderte, dass ich den IRQ 9 im BIOS für ISA reserviert habe. Jetzt hat die fcpci IRQ 12 für sich allein. Keine Verbesserung. Der CPU-Tausch kommt für mich eigentlich nicht als Fehlerquelle in betracht, denn es wurde nur eine defekte durch eine gleiche CPU ersetzt. Eher der Reboot, der deswegen anstand, denn bisher lief der Rechner durch. Hat jemand noch eine Idee oder einen Tipp für mich? Jan
