Hi all, I'm looking for help with translating an article about OBS, written by Helen South. SUSE marketing really liked the article and they told me they can help me get it in magazines in a large number of countries if we can get it translated. The languages I will need are: simple chinese japanses spanish french german dutch Below is a link to the document, mail it to me once you're done. [opensuse-translation] Obsolete files in the svn repository (for German)

Hi there, I noticed that the German directories got several files that seem to be obsolete (at least they're not in the 50-pot folder nor in another language I used to compare [da]). I don't think they serve any purpose anymore, so I'm going to delete them, but to prevent screw up potentional, I'm letting you know so you can double check :) In trunk/lcn/de/po I found those files: Makefile.am html-help-boot.de.po html-help-install.de.po kfiledialog.de.po kinternet.de.po libgnomesu-1.0.de.po lxdmconf.de.po Regards, Michael

Linenumbers are taken from snapper.de.po: 336:"<big>Snapshots Configuration</big>\n" 353:"<big>Snapshot Overview</big>\n" 370:"<big>Snapshot Overview</big>\n" The second should probably be a , at least that's why the syntax would imply. Btw. where should one report such typos? I've tried the bugzilla recently, but the feedback was not that great (I wask asked for y2logs repeatedly, even though I stated the line in the sourcecode(not the .po file) where the typo was and what the typo was :| ). The page http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Localization_team says that the Estonian localization team's coordinator is Ain Vagula, but sadly he has passed away in 2010 and to my knowledge there are currently no active Estonian openSUSE translators, so I would like to become the coordinator of the Estonian localization team. Hi, I saw Simplified Chinese Coordinator is still thruth, who is my friend and has switched to OS X for two years. so I wonder if I can handle over his work as a new local Coordinator ? I'm an openSUSE packager maintaining M17N, zh.opensuse.org localizer and Chinese Sub-Forum Moderator. so I can regroup my resources and find some persons to coordinate on l18n work. Seems the task is urgent because we have little time left before 12.2 beta. so if you agree, please point me the remaining procedures to go through. after that I can work from that on. [opensuse-translation] Man pages translation

Hi all, In openSUSE, some man pages are translated and some are not, but nothing in i18n SVN server. So, it should be "upstream" but where openSUSE get the translations of man pages ? I have some man pages translated whereas man-pages-LL is not installed!
