[opensuse-translation] Leap 15 Social Media Posts & Translations

Hi all, I know not everyone is signed up to the translations email list, but I figured I would send it to the projects as well as many of us speak multiple languages. We have a few social media posts we would like to put out in multiple languages and it would be great if you would translate them on the wiki at https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Social_media_launch_plan and post them in your local language at at the corresponding time. Thank you for any help you can provide. [opensuse-translation] yast-alternatives

Hi, While translating the release notes I saw a mention to yast-alternatives module which I didn't see as available for translation in pt_BR. Looking more deeply in weblate I saw that yes, it exists... https://l10n.opensuse.org/projects/yast-alternatives/master/ But only has 6 languages available (I just created pt_BR) and a message saying that its not available for Leap 15.0, which is wrong (I check the repo) My question is, how can I know which files I don't have 'initiated' yet whitout having to look into the +100 observed projects one by one? [opensuse-translation] Handling of repeated strings in packages-i18n

Dear admins, I know that achieving a full translation of project 'packages-i18n' is really hard, but sometimes is unnecessarily repetitive. For instance there are hundreds of messages like: Translations for package name_of_package Followed by: Provides translations for the "name_of_package" package. Would it be possible to start handling them with variable substitutions? That is: Translations for package %{name_of_package} Provides translations for the "%{name_of_package}" package. [opensuse-translation] Translation deadline for openSUSE Leap 15.0

Dear Translators, Our release day for openSUSE Leap 15.0 is approaching. I should announce translation deadlines for this release. We are allowed to translate until 13th May 2018 for integrated software packages (all of the Leap release). We'll have the translation packaging the day later. Infrastructure things (software.opensuse.org/ release notes/....) should be finished until 21st May. Hi all, So we are a few weeks away from releasing openSUSE Leap 15. I have placed the release announcement on the openSUSE wiki at https://en.opensuse.org/Release_announcement_15. It would be highly appreciated if you could help to translate the release announcement to your native language to help propagate the news of our next release. Currently there are English and Deutsch versions linked to the release announcement. Feel free to link your translated version to the top and include your ISO 639-1 Code language code.
