Hello openSUSE Translation team! I'd like to make a call for translation of openSUSE Leap 15.4 as we're about week away from Beta being public. More about the roadmap can be found here https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Roadmap Ss you might know Leap 15.4 is based on binary rpms from SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 SP4, therefore a lot of translations for these packages need to come from the SUSE Linux Enterprise. Some German-Enlish.-Swe I was complaining on release notes Leap15.3 and to Swedish. Leap 15.4. Maybe I can add to. I have most been active in openSuSE forums. Not to bad reputation. Regards.

opensuse-welcome translation update

Hi, please could you check why the opensuse-welcome package translation is not updated so long? There are some bug reports at bugzilla [0] about that. Translations are updated at github source repository with version 1.8.0, but the package in distribution repositories remains at the old version 1.7.1 released in 2019. Two years ago there was pull request [1] from repository X11:Utilities [2], which could solve this, but it was declined. Hi. A new version of Weblate was released. We just prepared all needed packages, successfully tested it on the staging server, and now there is a time to deploy it. This upgrade has a non-trivial migration procedure, so please expect an outage. weblate: expected outage on 14. 7. 16:00 CEST

Hi, the time has come for another Weblate update (4.6.2 -> 4.7.1). Now we will also update the server from Leap 15.2 to Leap 15.3. We have successfully tested Weblate-4.7.1 on openSUSE Leap 15.3, the update process was smooth. Expecting outage less than 1 hour. Please, let us know if the time of the update does not suit you. Review of openSUSE Leap 15.4 release process prior creation - translations, torrent, get-o-o and marketing related tasks.

Hello team, I plan to create openSUSE Leap 15.4 Release process tasks in progress- o-o within next week or two, same timing applies for publishing official 15.4 roadmap. Tasks will be created by tool https://github.com/openSUSE/md2workflow from task definitions in https://github.com/openSUSE/openSUSE-release- process (this is the repo that needs review). Tasks are sorted in files that represent individual Leap Milestones. I could specifically use help with review of Translation related tasks (as I think we have changed there quite a lot by re-using of SLE binaries). Another area would be software-o-o -> get-o-o transition (only few tasks) and torrents (we've had some complains in retro). We have also received feedback in retro that we've done very well in marketing within openSUSE community compared to previous release, but we could still improve on the external visibility. So perhaps revisiting standard marketing tasks would make sense as well. Everybody is welcome to create a pull request to suggest change to tasks for given milestone. Otherwise I'd be up for a session where we'd focus on review of specific area of tasks that received negative feedback in our retro and the pull request against openSUSE-release- process.
