Hi, I have seen that the landing page have not been refreshed nor updated for the release, or not yet. Some days ago there were new changes in strings that I have not seen applied yet. For ca, for example, the po file contains "Instal·leu l'openSUSE Leap" and the landing page shows "Instel·leu l'Leap", which previously was "Instal·leu l'openSUSE". What is now shown is gramatically incorrect, and it seems obvious that the change did not have into account what was in the po file. So, is there going to be a refresh/reload of the landing page? I would correct things. [opensuse-translation] New: search page translatable

Hi, JFYI, unfortunately it was noticed too late that the default browser home page (search page) didn't use the proper translation mechanism :-( Thanks to coolo's script we finally have opensuse-search-page.pot which can be translated. [opensuse-translation] Tumbleweed installation page/wiki

Hi, I think that 'https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Tumbleweed_installation' should be available for translating the same way 'https://software.opensuse.org/421' is. I mean, through a normal po file. The strings could be added in software-opensuse.po or create a new one. It would be just coherent, given that both are accessible as a follow up from the landing page and they act in a parallel way now. I know that Tumbleweed's is a wiki, but making it a normal page would make it easier to translate and available to more languages than the ones that can have/mantain a wiki. As usual, I'm here to ask you for a last-minute effort. Sorry for that. Leap uses the same checksum mechanism to verify the ISO downloads than Tumbleweed, which is different from the one used in 13.2 and before. Thus, I updated the information about verification displayed in software.opensuse.org. Tomorrow, with the official release of Leap 42.1, the new version of software.o.o containing the new sentences will be deployed. So please, update the corresponding xx/po/sofware-opensuse-org.xx.po as soon as possible. The new couple of sentences (together with the to-be-localized pointer to the release notes) are already there. [opensuse-translation] Confusing status of Leap translations.

We have in the trunk branch some files that pertain to Leap, whereas the understanding has always been that "trunk== factory", ie, Tumbleweed currently. On the other hand, we already have a "Leap 42.1" branch, although with only the "packages" sub-branch. Other files have been migrated to Weblate. I have no idea about those. Could we move those files in "Trunk" that are really "Leap" files to the "Leap" branch? I'm thinking, for instance, of lcn/slideshow, perrhaps lcn/opensuse-landing-page.es.po (?). I don't know if there are more (perhaps a grep of the string 42.1?). I'm willing to *try* create the directories and files, but I'm unsure about the scripts, and I certainly can not handle updating the pots to keep them current. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
